It’s “Very Unfortunate” U.S. Doesn’t See IPOB As A Terrorist Organisation – Lai
The federal government of Nigeria has explained the reason it proscribed the Indigenous People of Biafra, declaring it as a terrorist group.
In an interview with the BBC service, Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, said the acts and utterances of IPOB were acts and utterances of terrorists.
“For instance, Nnamdi Kanu was caught on tape saying that he wants Biafra, and not peacefully, but by force, and that if they don’t get Biafra, Somalia would be a paradise with the kind of mayhem…”
“This is also the same man who openly solicited for arms, the same man who set up his own Biafran National Guard, his own Biafra Secret Service, and the same man who actually attacked army formations.”
Asked what he made of the fact that the United States does not categorise IPOB as a terrorist group, Mohammed said America’s position was “very unfortunate”.
“That’s very unfortunate, because if countries decide to pick and choose which organisations are terrorists and which are not, bearing in mind that terrorism has no boundary… I think every country should work together to ensure that terrorism does not thrive,” he said.

Since Colonialism our past and present leaders and government officials I’ve been blindsided by the white man’s way of democratic government and law.. As some may know, in the past 1000 years or more most of our leaders where Kingsman of clans and tribes but since 1914 when the white man came into Our lands with bicycle, English language, his blonde hair blue eyes, chocolate, glasses, the Bible and many other things that looked alien to us, we completely lost our ways of leadership after that.. Most of all, all our 250 tribes back then spoke different languages in there ways of communication and leadership.. The white man came in and introduced to us fraud, corruption slavery, greed, religion and many other things to control the mind our Noble Kingsman and Elders.. No one knew what fraud was, no one knew what oppression was, no one knew what politics was, no one knew what corruption was, but now it lingers in our minds each and every day, as a perfected art used by the Nigerian government today..
Nigeria is one country in Africa that has for the last 50 years had leaders who have been Northern military officers or X military officers in office for so long.. These individuals are not trained economically to rule a country, in which they’ve ruled by force.. This oppressive invaders are trained for warfare and that is why the problem has been this bad for so long..
Kanu was or is a complete patriot to the black man life but not only to the black mans way of life, but preserving there Heritage and culture in his fight.. He lets us remember the Focus of a black African spirit and their believe of doing gods will and keeping there great tribal and additional values alive..
Regardless of him being a freedom fighter for only the Biafrans now, he still fought for the freedom in preserving our cultural African heritage in our various homelands, so others could follow the same trend.. In addition whatever happens in future yo him, he goes down in the history books as an icon..
Nnamdi Kanu as one of the greatest Africans now that fought for freedom with a gun but with a loud speaker.. He place in the black man’s society of today’s corrupted world will linger in the mind of every Nigerian running for office or government today..
In conclusion since he started his freedom fight, I wake up seeing and hearing people talking about what Next for Biafra and Nigeria on Facebook or in the media, in which it’s all about the crisis we have been going through in Nigeria for the past 50 years.. Now regardless what happens in the future elections, people will think twice before the vote for a candidate, and the candidate will think twice before corrupting our minds all over again..
I am so pleased he came into the minds of all Nigerians or Biafrans at the right time..
In Nigeria today and all over the world now, people can say “we have something we can call our own” a political reform of freedom from a 50 year old corrupted government..

I can understand your frustration. US is a civilised nation that values human life and respects people’s rights (whether they are citizens or foreigners).
