Nigeria Cannot Survive Without The Igbo, Please Forgive Us For All We Did To You – Femi Aribisala

Out of the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria, the Igbo have by far the worst politicians. Among the different ethnic groups in Nigeria, the Igbo are without a doubt, one of the most remarkable.
So remarkable, indeed, that some have even traced their ancestry to biblical Israel, as the far-flung descendants of Jacob, the Jewish patriarch.
Gad, Jacob’s seventh son, is said to have had three sons who settled in South-eastern Nigeria. These sons; Eri, Arodi and Areli, are believed to have fathered clans in Igbo-land and to have founded such Igbo towns as Aguleri, Arochukwu, Owerri and Umuleri.
Igbo genius
Even the bitterest adversaries of the Igbo cannot but admit that, as a people, they are very resourceful and ingenious.
Indeed, this has often been the cause of their envy and dislike by others. However, more enlightened non-Igbo Nigerians see this as a cause for celebration.
While today, the centre-point of Nigeria’s manufacturing is situated in the Lagos/Ogun axis, there is no doubt that the real locomotive of Nigeria’s indigenous industrialization lies farther afield in Aba and in the mushrooming cottage-industries of the Igbo heartland.
In one of the paradoxes of Nigerian history, the terrible civil war provoked homespun industrialization in the South-East.
Military blockade left the Igbo with little alternative than to be inventive in a hurry. While Nigeria as a nation failed woefully to harness this profitably after the war, it has nevertheless ensured that the Igbo are at the forefront of Nigeria’s economic development today.
Indeed, the way we disregard “made in Aba” today is the same way we disregarded “made in Japan” yesterday.
For those of us who believe against the odds that Nigeria is the China of tomorrow, we equally recognize that the ingenuity of the Igbo is an indelible part of the actualization of that manifest destiny.
Hall of fame
The Igbo have been a great credit to Nigeria. They have given us a great number of our favourite sons, including international statesman Nnamdi Azikiwe; military leader Odumegwu Ojukwu; regional leader Michael Okpara; vice-president Alex Ekwueme; mathematical genius Chike Obi; literary icon Chinua Achebe; world-class economist Pius Okigbo; world boxing champion Dick Tiger; international statesman Emeka Anyaoku; and world-class artist Ben Enwonwu.
Pemit me to include in this illustrious list even some of my very good Igbo friends: Pat Utomi, Ojo Madueke, Olisa Agbakoba, Joy Ogwu, and Stanley Macebuh.
Let us get one thing straight: Nigeria would be a much poorer country without the Igbo.
Indeed, Nigeria would not be Nigeria without them. Can you imagine the Super Eagles without the Igbo? Not likely! Who can forget Nwankwo Kanu, Jay Jay Okocha and our very own Emmanuel Amuneke? Can you imagine Nollywood without the Igbo? Impossible! Just think of Stella Damascus-Aboderin; Rita Dominic and Mike Ezuruonye.
And then there are the diaspora Igbo who many are unaware are of Igbo descent, including concert singer and actor Paul Robeson; Oscar award-winner Forest Whitaker; mega-pastor T.D. Jakes; Olympic champion Christine Ohuruogu; and BAFTA actor award-winner Chiwetel Ejiofor.
You may well wonder why I have found it necessary to present this small litany of Igbo who-is-who.
I think it is important to emphasise how the Igbo have been very vital to the Nigerian project.
They have more than represented Nigeria creditably in virtually all walks of life. This makes it all the more absurd that this same people have been consistently denied the position of executive president of the country in all but six months of Nigeria’s 54 year history.
Civil-war legacy
Of course, a major reason for this was the 1967-1970 civil-war which had the Igbo on the losing side.
But that was over 40 years ago. If there is really to be “no victor, no vanquished” in anything more than mere rhetoric, then the rehabilitation of the Igbo back into post civil-war Nigeria will not be complete until an Igbo man finally becomes president of the country.
That imperative should be of interest to every Nigerian nationalist, committed to the creation of one Nigeria where everyone has a deep sense of belonging.
The problem, however, is that the Igbo themselves seem to be their own worst enemies in this regard.
They appear to be doing their very best to ensure that this inevitable eventuality continues to be denied and delayed.
The Igbo need to forgive Nigerians. No one who lived through the horrors that precipitated the secession of Biafra and led to the civil-war cannot but admit that the Igbo were abused and mal-treated in one of the worst pogroms ever.
It was not just that they were senselessly massacred in their own country; it was that they were butchered.
I remember vividly gory pictures of scores and scores of the Igbo with hands chopped up and with legs amputated.
And then there were the ravages of the three-year civil-war itself, resulting in the death of millions of Igbo; many through starvation and attrition.
The end of the war brought no respite, as the Igbo were pauperized by fiscal decrees that wiped out their savings and their properties were blatantly sequestered by opportunists.
All this is more than enough to destroy the spirit of any group of people. But God has been on the side of the Igbo.
It is a testament to their resilience that, in spite of this terrible affliction, they have survived, bounced back and have even triumphed in Nigeria.
Forty years have now gone by. The Igbo may never forget what happened to them and, indeed, should never forget. But it is past time for them to forgive.
We are sorry
This is one voice in the Nigerian wilderness saying to the Igbo from the depth of his heart: we are sorry.
We are sorry for the way we mistreated you. We are sorry for the way we abused you. We are sorry for starving your children to death. We are sorry for killing your loved ones. We are sorry for stealing your properties. We are sorry for making you feel unwanted in your own country. Please forgive us. It is time to forgive us. It is way past time for the Igbo to forgive Nigerians. We beg you in the name of God.
There was a civil war in the United States, but the defeated South rose from the ashes. Five of the last nine presidents of the United States have been from the South, including Jimmy Carter from Georgia, George Bush from Texas and Bill Clinton from Arkansas.
The time is overdue for an Igbo president of Nigeria, but it is not going to happen as long as the Igbo continue to hold a grudge against Nigeria and Nigerians.
There is no question about it: the Ibos cannot elect a president of Nigeria on their own. To do so, they have to join forces with others.
They have to form alliances with people from other parts of Nigeria. That is not going to happen as long as the Igbo continue to bear a grudge against practically everybody else.
The Igbo have a gripe against virtually all the people they need. They have this tendency to antagonise their possible alliance partners.
They keep dredging up the past, refusing to let sleeping dogs lie. Until they drop these gripes, they are not likely to realise their dreams.
Demonising Yorubas.
For example, the Igbo have this tendency to demonise the Yorubas. It is alarming when reading the Vanguard blogs today to see the animosity often expressed between Igbo and Yoruba contributors.
The hatred is most unhealthy. Insults are traded with abandon. What is the point of this? For how long will the Igbo demand emotional retribution from every Yoruba for the betrayal of Awolowo? Most of the contributors were not even born when the civil-war took place more than a generation ago.
There is now even transferred aggression against Babatunde Fashola, who made the blunder of repatriating some destitute Igbo from Lagos back to their home-states.
The man has apologised for the infraction. He should be forgiven. Blunders are not the exclusive preserve of the non-Igbo.
The Igbo have made more than a few themselves and will yet make others. Paradoxically, the redemption of the Igbos to prominent national office moved apace under President Obasanjo; a Yoruba man.
Recognising that Igbos are some of the most seasoned, competent and experienced public-servants, Obasanjo relied heavily on their expertise.
Thanks to him, we got Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala at Finance, Charles Soludo at Central Bank, Obiageli Ezekwesili at Education, Ndidi Okereke at the Stock Exchange, and Dora Akunyili at NAFDAC. Indeed, Igbo statesmen came into more prominence under Obasanjo than did Yoruba statesmen. But for some strange reason, this does not seem to have succeeded in assuaging the ill-feeling of the Igbos toward the Yorubas.
Bad politicians
Within the framework of Nigerian politics, the Igbo also have a fundamental problem.
Out of the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria, the Igbo have by far the worst politicians. They have no recognizable leaders, and have no discernible strategy as to how to negotiate power at the centre.
As a result, the Igbo have tended to be short-changed at the federal level.
Traditionally, the inconsequential ministries, such as the Ministry of Information, have been zoned to them.
The Igbo need to work out a plan that will take them to Aso Rock.
First, they need to choose and groom a de-tribalised leader of the Azikiwe mould who can be sold to non-Igbos. Then, they need to give him undiluted support.
At the moment the internal politics of the Igbo militates against this. The Igbo seem to hate themselves as much as they hate others.
They seem to fight themselves with as much venom as they fight others. Every potential Igbo leader seems to have more enemies within than without.
This must not be allowed to continue. The Igbo need to help themselves in order that their friends can help them.
In this centenary of Nigeria’s amalgamation, as we embark on the arduous process of crafting our future through a National Conference, we salute the Igbo for their fortitude and implore them to stake their claim in Nigeria. Nigeria cannot survive without the Igbo.

Let no one thinks is Nnamdi KANU who want to break Nigeria. He is just a vessel. Nature can never be cheated. When a water course is blocked or sand filed, it will exhibit his anger by destroying things in its area of escape and that is what nature is doing to Nigeria bc, it was never created one indivisible country.

“Go you no won go”
What kind of people are this Igbo?
You continue to inundate people’s psyche with your nasty tales and conceits but when they asked you to relocate to your Biafra utopia you started to cry.
What kind of amorals are these Igbos for God’s sake?
You’re used to double talk like amphibians.
Your imbecile and albino Nnamdi Kanu is asking for bianonsense.
Your cacophonious and voluptuous John Nna Nwodo is talking about restructuring of Nigeria.
Your fathers destroyed fiscal federalism by introduction of Igbo totalitarian regimes and years you started shouting of marginalization.
Now you’re neurasthenic hypochondriacs society that rather than reminiscent of your evil past you’re calculating how to destroy Nigeria.
Thanks God Almighty that your forefathers saw the red sea and ran into the bush and continue roaming around the world since then claiming that you’re Israelites and Jews.
You’re a lost tribe of the rebellious slaves that refused to cross the red sea with the children of Israel.
Had it been you crossed with them you would have bedraggled that country today.
What a besmirch and callous people!

This is why yorubas re been considered as cowards all over the world. MKO Abiola died in jail with his mandate and the yorubas fled. Nnamdi kanu cannot die in prison. We are not cowards like the yorubas. We have the nerves to stand up. But the yorubas can’t do that. If the war is just between the igbos and the yorubas only, the yorubas would have fled. Cowards and Back stabbing fools.

Pls enough of this nonsense. The Ibos did not say that they want to go. There is agitation for Biafra. There are Ibos all over the world; not only in the northern Nigeria. Don’t u know the deference b/w relocation and sovereignty? Ur red sea analogy can not fit in. If there is Biafra, that does not mean that there will be no Nigeria. Also, It does not mean that Ibos will not live in the North. Pls Akinyemi, don’t insult all Ibos because of Biafra agitation because some Ibos still believe in Nigeria. Cares!

Message:
“LET THE LORD HAVE HIS WAY”.
Bible Texts:
Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV
8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Romans 11:33. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Today, we are looking at the subject, LET THE LORD, HAVE HIS WAY! I perceive strongly in my spirit, that the Lord, wants to make a way, for someone, who has been toiling and struggling, and there seems to be no way forward for him or her, in life.
One of the main reasons why a lot of people, including Christians, are not having fulfilment in their lives is that they choose to do things, their own way. Even our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, during His earthly ministry, did not fail to recognize the fact that His Father, the Almighty God, is the source of His strength and supplies, hence in all His prayers, He would conclude by saying, not my Will, but thy Will be done {Mark 14:36; Luke 22:42}, and He was able to successfully complete His earthly ministry, emerging victoriously.
Before you embark on anything in life, especially as a child of the Almighty God, first commit it to Him in prayers, and ask Him, to have His way. He will direct your paths, and order your steps a right. As a young man or lady, who wants to marry, don’t look out for beauty or riches, but unto God, for His choice and perfect will for you, if you want to have a happy and successful married life. Are you already married, and it appears things are not working out the way you had expected, this is no time to accuse each other, quarrel or fight, it is a time for you to come together in prayers of agreement, and ask the Lord, to have His way, in your home. In your education, career, business, work, children upbringing, day to day life, allow the Lord to have His way, if you want to have real peace of mind, be successful and happy, do not wait until you make a mistake after doing things in your own way, before turning it over to God, to have His way.
Hear what the Bible says:
Jeremiah 10:23. O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
Proverbs 14:12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
As children of the Most High God, we should never yield to the dictates of our flesh and self will, we must allow Him, to be in total control of our entire lives and decisions, if truly, we want to emerge victoriously, in every aspects of our daily endeavours. The secret behind my happiness in life today, is because, as a child of God, I have learnt early enough, to allow Him, to have His way, in everything I do. You too can enjoy this privilege, if you will allow the Lord, to be fully in charge, and have His way in your life, from today.
The Almighty God, is always willing, ready and available, to give us all the necessary guide, support and divine enablement we need, if we truly, from the depth of our hearts, allow Him, to have His Way, in our day to day, planning and decisions making processes. {Psalm 37:23. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way}. Will you allow Him, to have His Way, in your life today?
Let’s conclude, by looking at the following scriptures together, to hear directly, from the throne of the Almighty God:
Psalm 37:5. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Jeremiah 32:27. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Matthew 19:26. But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Proverbs 16:3. Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Isaiah 48:17-19 KJV
17. Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
18. O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
19. Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
Finally, the Bible warns us, to consider our ways {Hag.1:5}, do not therefore lean unto your own understanding, let the Lord, have His way, in your entire life, and in whatever you do, so that you can have a glorious end.
Stay blessed and stay connected to the Lord, even as you allow Him, to have His Way, and have total control of all your affairs, in Jesus Mighty Name, amen!

Thanks for your time and pen. You touched me when you said those sorry and we as Igbo accept your apology, now you mentioned Nigerian football, yes when it was managed by Igbo the world feared us but today nothing. All we ask is respect, Yoruba are, Hausa are good, in fact all tribe in this nation has good part we should try to give each and everyone of us the chance to pilot the areas of our speciality. The north can handle our military, the south west policing, south east custom and south south Navy. Hausa man who don’t have time to learn swimming is boss in navy. Hausa man who can’t pronounce his name is boss in police force. Hausa man with their half baked education is custom boss. Chai my brother you ask us to forgive, hmmm remember that respect is give and take.

This Common Sense Odikwa Hard!
Fellow Biafrans.
I support your struggle 100% but my problem is your approach.
I would want to suggest the following procedures and i can assure u its going to work out successfully. if you can unite and follow the following 10 steps then i can tell you, welcome to the Republic of Biafra in advance.
«««STEP 1»»»
Withdraw all your services from Nigeria and render Nigeria and Nigerians unserviceable as you are the backbone of the country.
«««STEP 2»»»
Withdraw your kinsmen who are public office holders e.g Ike Ekweremadu, deputy senate president, Peter Obi the D.G of SEC etc
«««STEP 3»»»
Reject all the ministerial nominations from the so-called Nigeria, the ZOO.
«««STEP 4»»»
Endeavour to reject Federal Allocations.
You are very industrious people. You will be better-off without it
«««STEP 5»»»
Stop all forms of importations through the Nigerian sea ports so that Nigeria will crumble without your import duty taxes
«««STEP 6»»»
Recall all your sons and daughters from all parts of Nigeria to relocate back home until this fight is over. Then Nigeria can beg them to come back as expatriates.
«««STEP 7»»»
Lock up all ur shops in idumota, Alaba International Market, Kano Main Market, and every other market in Sabingaris and Tudun Wadas of even the remote villages across the country.
«««STEP 8»»»
Go beyond closing of the Niger bridge! Stop all Nigerians from buying or selling in Onitsha Main Market or Ariaria Market in Aba.
«««STEP 9»»»
Make sure u make ur Visa very hard for Nigerians to obtain

Your steps 3 to 5 are mischievous because you know how impossible the contrary would be. How can they stop importation from Lagos port when the federal government failed to establish a functional sea port in the East? How can you say they should reject federal allocation when the major revenue is derived from both their region and their money paid to clear their goods? When some of you guys talk most times, I begin to query the motive and intention

STRATEGY OF THE ELITES. All past presidents love themselves. All past and present governors love each other. All senators are one. Governments’ top officials are the same. Looters celebrate and enjoy together. All local government chairmen/ chairpersons in Nigeria have the same orientation. BUT, the masses hate and ready to kill one another for the problems caused by the people listed above…. Strategy of the elites……………………………………………… ………………………………………….STRATEGY OF BIAFRANS. 1.BIAFRAN REFERENDUM 2. SHARING OF ASSETS and liabilities. 3. ALL THE WAY TO BIAFRA INDEPENDENCE. 4. A GLOBAL WORLD POWER IS BORN. 5. THE RISING SUN. 6. GOD IS WITH US.

we have forgiving you but we must moveon. the law that gorverns the universe respects and sustains forwardness only. even the BIBLE said going forwrd is life, as backward is death. The infalable chronicles said and Hezekiah began to rign and did that which was right in the sight of God. he broke the high places and the grooves of idolatory set by Ahaz his father. and he prospared from what we can see in tht portion. all the king that ruled israel that went forward from that idolatory rign was a success. in the israelic exedus those that did no harken to moses to move forward died in the wilderness of sin. for this case there is no turning back on BIAFRA.so even if all the whole world gather and plead we shall resist with a resound NO !!! the zooo must fall!!!!

Their tribe got highly blessed. I, as a proudly Igbo, I’ve trekked longer to observing the different. They’re most brilliant in African race. With no joke, Google 4more details by the US observers. I have never read anything more insulting and patronizing than this article.
Igbo forgive us for stealing your property but you have not stopped stealing their property, neither have you returned the old ones you stole. Make restitution, no! Let Igbo console themselves by at least criticizing the criminals that stole from them, mba! Igbo must forgive while you continue to insult and tell them how stupid they are for because you succeeded in robbing them.
Igbo must get over it; and for us, it’s just minor infraction that our fathers abused you. However, we must not stop abusing you but we want you to forgive all the same.
It is a transferred aggression against Fashola for criminally and intentionally dehumanizing Igbo in 2015, so Igbo must stop this nonsense against very innocent Yoruba Fashola. He did not directly abuse Igbo, he only deported indecent Igbo back to their accursed land. Isn’t that a favour since all the recalcitrant Igbo leaders, sorry, Igbo have no leaders, could not stop their indegent folks from migrating to Lagos flowing with milk and honey.
Igbo have the worst political leaders. That’s why you are writing to ask them to forgive you. That’s why your beloved Nigeria is dangling “like this, like this.”
Igbo can’t get the office of Nigerian president because they don’t know how to forge alliances with those who raped and continue to rape them without remorse.
Igbo must sit down humbly at the feet of wise Yoruba to learn the “7 steps” to political prominence and national mainstream. They will be taught how to avoid Awolowo’s betrayal, Fashola’s and Ambode’s destruction of Igbo livelihood, and Yoruba media insult and blackmain. But we will not stop manufacturing new methods of inquisition against Igbo. They must just forgive us because we cannot survive without them.
Finally, Igbo must not contemplate ever seceding from our abuses. What will become of our calamity of a country without Igbo?
Forgive us Igbo; ahh, it’s been a million years Awo did this thing naa, and Fashola? Did you not see him rolling on the ground begging Igbo for forgiveness for his harmless infraction? As for the current daily insults by Yoruba, that’s nothing. It’s has become part of your life experience. But if it offends you, please forgive, but I can’t guarantee that our treatment of Igbo will change. Thanking you in advance for forgiving our past, present and future abuses.
Michael Oluwole Tunde
June 15, 2017 at 12:23 pm
Mr fighter they begged you you said nay. If you leave Lagos do you think Lagos will stop being Lagos ? Where will you market your goods mr man Yoruba says leyin aponle Abuku Lokan meaning after honor na shame
Chijioke Nwa Jioke
June 15, 2017 at 12:30 pm
Micheal, your comatose fool, if Igbo leaves Lagos then what, the market you talk about is been dictated by the Igbo’s anywhere they are, you will see the becoming of Lagos soon, just a matter of time.
Emeka Icheku
June 15, 2017 at 1:50 pm
You are very right Michael. After the false honor of those who stole from Igbo, na shame for them.
Where will Igbo sell their goods? So it’s Yoruba that are consuming all the goods produced by Igbo? Who consumes those you produce? I suppose Chinese had to relocate to Nigeria in order to sell their goods? Or don’t you see that almost everything consumed in Nigeria comes from China? Don’t cry more than the bereaved. When Igbo leave your land, Yoruba can have their land while Igbo can find markets in other African countries. However, if we die, don’t weep for us; we died of our own volition.

This is our country, the only place we call our own yet things are always not addressed properly.
With this you will know the imbalance in our economy, the allocation of one region surpasses that of all southern States put together, who will talk? Nobody.

Yes ofcours you had mention all the good side of the igbos in Nigeria forgetting to talk of the ridiculous activities of the IGBOS And the worst of this so called IGBOS drawing the achievement of Nigeria back.
*Yes agreed that the IGBOS represent Nigeria in the football(Super eagle). But before then how many billions of lives did they course their dead by thecivil war(Biafra war) which they all knew they are the caused of that disaster?
*Also agreed they represent Nigeria in the world of movies. But mind you, it is only the NOLLY WOOD the represented. Mean while there are so many film industries in Nigeria that promotes the Nigerian culture.
Anyway, if you are proud of that, are you also aware of the problems you are putting Nigeria into in the foreign and neighboring countries. Such as human&drug trafficking and Xenophobic attacking e.g. In the south african?
*Yes, we agree you sing you dances for nigeria. But hope you also agreed of the notorious kidnapper is an IGBO MAN who has been terrorising the nation for so long. Killing innocent, rubbing innocent, putting innocent women into widow i.e. Killings husbands, wives, childrens, wives, childrens couples etc by ritual purposes etc if they fails to deliver their requirement ransom at as when due.
Infact, you people is just like living with a rats in a house. You any hustle to save your selves and making holes in the house which its results a very serious disaster.
THE ONLY GOOD IN SNAKE IS CAMOUFLAGES. BUT THE FACT IS THAT THERE IS NOTHING ELSE.

Muhammad, the tribe you come from is a menace to humanity. A bunch of illiterates and power hungry monsters without an atom of what real and true governance means. Go back to and from the days of Abacha and see how you force yourselves to throne of power and see how death has been claiming you people one by one…because you think you can force it. I will not tell what the future will bring. But just know that Nigeria and the world indeed belong to nobody. But the Almighty God.

Because of his stupidity and desperate in God’s mercy, that is what would always makes him to be claiming that he is better than everyone/that he is even the God. BIAFRA NATIONAL ANTHEM
Land of the Rising Sun
Land of the rising sun, we love and cherish,
Beloved homeland of our brave heroes;
We must defend our lives or we shall perish,
We shall protect our hearts from all our foes;
But if the price is death for all we hold dear,
Then let us die without a shred of fear.
Hail to Biafra, consecrated nation,
Oh fatherland, this be our solemn pledge:
Defending thee shall be a dedication,
Spilling our blood we’ll count a privilege;
The waving standard which emboldens the free
Shall always be our flag of liberty.
We shall emerge triumphant from this ordeal,
And through the crucible unscathed we’ll pass;
When we are poised the wounds of battle to heal,
We shall remember those who died in mass;
Then shall our trumpets peal the glorious song
Of victory we scored o’er might and wrong.
Oh God, protect us from the hidden pitfall,
Guide all our movements lest we go astray;
Give us the strength to heed the humanist call:
‘To give and not to count the cost” each day;
Bless those who rule to serve with resoluteness,
To make this clime a land of righteousness.
Ahmad Al-mubarak

Igbo Investment in Northern Nigeria
and the way forward.
Igbos in Northern Nigeria should not
sell their properties to the greedy
Hausa-Fulani people instead this is
what they should do to get value for
their investments.
1. Approach any bank in Nigeria (East,
West, North or south) and take an
equivalent loan using you properties
or investments as Collateral.
2. Reinvest the money from the loan
in Igbo land.
3. If you are not able to pay the loan
because the Nigerian Government
wants Igbos to leave Northern Nigeria
then let the bank claim the collateral.
Also you can equally tell the bank that
you cannot pay and they will claim
your property as Collateral.
So Igbos return home to Igbo land.
Forward it to every Igbo people

For those of us who believe against the odds that Nigeria is the China of tomorrow, we equally recognize that the ingenuity of the Igbo is an indelible part of the actualization of that manifest destiny.

fame

At the mention of the name restructuring, they blame the campaigners for not championing it during GEJ era but at the mention Biafra their Boohoo, shriek, whining and grinning get higher. What I know is that two tribes in Nigeria can never hold 206 tribes to ransome

The greatest mystery of this century is that NONE HAVE BEEN ARRESTED since IG “ordered the arrest” of those behind the quit notice. Welcome to the Janjaweed republic of Nigeria where different rules are made and applied respectively between the muslim north and Middle-belt/Southerners.. If Buhari bullets that killed thousands of our youths, including those killed in places of worship by his evil forces could not stop Biafra, how foolish is the thinking of Arewa Northern fools who believes its empty threat could deter Biafrans from seeking our independence. The poor North should seek economic help from the United Nations. Nigeria can never wish away the reality of BIAFRA. The Biafra Question must be settled for Nigeria to be in harmony with herself. As a nation that wants to thrive, living in denial of Biafra is suicidal. Attempts to erase history for the fear of Biafra is cowardice. Nigeria must face her FEARS, the fear of Biafra and address the issues with either a Referendum or a restructured confederal union of nations within Nigeria. The Biafran Question is not a cry for WAR, but a demand of an Indigenous People for their recognised Right of Self-determination through a Referendum. Scotland recently exercised that Right in the United Kingdom.Britain also exercised it in EU. Biafrans is demanding to exercise hers in Nigeria.
Not war!
