“Mad People” – Peter Okoye Reacts To APC’s Call For His Arrest
Peter Okoye of Psquare has reacted to the recent call for his arrest made by the APC Youth Renaissance group.
The group had in a statement signed by its national secretary, Collins Edwin, described Peter Okoye as a “son of darkness” for ‘insulting’ Federal government of Nigeria’ over the proposed plan to ban shooting of music videos and Nigerian films abroad.
Reacting, veteran rapper Ruggedman who earlier criticized the abroad video shooting ban responded to the call for Peter’s arrest with a tweet that reads: “The federal government did not order @PeterPsquare arrest, it’s Mr. Collins Edwin, Nat Secretary, APCYouths dat’s ordering d government to “

Why would federal government come up with such ideal? this guys are like ambassadors, they make our music, movies and comedy known all over the world. Federal government are suppose to encourage and support them, not ban them. Why not ban politicians who goes outside the country for medical checkup and treatments??? Why not come back home and build this facilities in our country than spending millions of naira over there? Like our president where is he now? is he not suppose to be in this country and preside on the affairs of this country?
