Nigerian Govt Offered Me Biafra In Prison On ‘One Condition’ – Nnamdi Kanu Reveals
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, Wednesday, revealed that while he was in detention, the Nigerian government offered to allow him have Biafra on the condition that he will only leave with the five Igbo states.
“They gave me Biafra in Prison with only the five Igbo states; I said no, I want Benue and Rivers”, Kanu said, adding that “Biafra is coming, there is nothing to stop it”.
He also claimed that when he refused, he was offered an oil block and mansions in Dubai to entirely jettison the struggle.
Kanu made this revelation when leaders of Igbo Civil Society Coalition led by Prof. Obasi Igwe paid him a solidarity visit at his Umuahia home.
According to the IPOB leader, he rejected them and insisted on the sovereignty of Biafra nation.
He said those things were Greek gifts to buy him over and maintained that he had no price other than to actualize the restoration of Biafra Republic.
