CNN ‘Mocks’ Nigeria Over Buhari’s ‘Relocation To London’

buhari

Cable News Network (CNN) may have just made a mockery of Nigeria over the continued absence of President Muhammadu Buhari from the country.

The television medium mocked the country in the latest edition of its “The Global Public Square (GPS)”, a foreign affairs show anchored by Fareed Zakaria.

The programme in its Quiz and Trivia segment asked, “The head of state from which country has not set foot in his homeland in over two months?”

The options were given as Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Nigeria and Syria.

It went on to tick the option ‘Nigeria’.

Chidi Odinkalu, Former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) posted a screenshot of the question on Twitter.

Buhari had left Nigeria since May 7 for medical examination and treatment.

The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo and some governors have visited him in London and maintained that he is fast recovering.

Chukwu O Chukwu When Obiano connived with Buhari to kill innocent Biafran protesters, he never knw that these days will come. When he signed the Army investigation report that no Biafran protester was killed, he never knw that these days will come. He rose to condemn and threaten Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, he forgot that these days will come. Now Obiano is jittery. Well, Obiano should have nothing to fear. Surely election will hold but no one will vote.

@Abdul Mahmood, I beg ur pardon. You mean you still can’t see how Buhari has come to symbolise the ultimate fraud and thief? If you truly love the man u would ditch this blind sentimentality making him an object of scorn before the global audience.

He who created the nation Nigeria shall never know peace, even in the land of the death; he can never see rest…
Nothing is working in the nation he founded, no peace, no gain, no food, no road, no president.
