Osinbajo Concludes Arrangements To Reshuffle Cabinet

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has concluded arrangements to effect major changes in the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The action, according New Telegraph, will be taken this week or at most next week, will see some ministers being shown the way out of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government while many others will have their portfolios swapped.

Already, the planned shake-up in the cabinet is causing anxiety among most members who are aware, but not sure of their fate.

A presidency source privy to the current arrangement told New Telegraph that a minister confirmed the imminent cabinet shake-up.

The source said: “President Buhari and the Acting President have agreed to overhaul the cabinet and have been discussing on this since Osinbajo visited him in London.”

Recall that last FEC meeting was unusual as almost every council members attended because of uncertainty surrounding the shake up, apart from the inauguration of the new Ministers, which are yet to be assigned portfolios.
