Biafra: Why Nnamdi Kanu Has Not Been Re-arrested – IGP Idris

Nnamdi Kanu-IGP

The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has explained that Biafra agitator Nnamdi Kanu, has not been re-arrested despite his flouting of his bail conditions because of the national security council put in place by the Acting President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

He said this is the same reason the Arewa youths who ordered Igbos living in the north to vacate their residences are yet to be arrested.

“We have the National Security Council in place chaired by the Acting President. We have been meeting and analyzing each of these threat messages from separatist groups.

“We have to analyse the pros and cons. As you are aware, the police are on top of the situation.

“As an organisation, what we take as paramount is the maintenance of law and order. There was a time we ordered the arrest of the leaders of groups making threat messages. Then, leaders of various ethnic nationalities came to the villa for a meeting with the Acting President.

“The agreements reached at the meeting made the police to relax on the arrest order.

“We believe there are certain situations needed to be managed very carefully, so that you don’t bring up tension. We believe the security and safety of Nigerians is paramount. We are assuring Nigerians that there is no person or group of persons that can deny them their rights to free movement in any part of the country,” he said.

Nnamdi kanu is actually not a threat or national security issue in Nigeria. He is just a mere hustler, an opportunistic vulture eking out a living from a bunch of ignoramus ethnic jingoistic money making computers, who are ready to throw money away like drunken sailors! He is seeking relevance through his publicity hunting expedition!
The Arewa youth on the other hand were merely comical. They were trying to give kanu away by saying since you perceived our beloved country Nigeria as zoo, we want you to get the hell outa our home land and move to your imaginary heaven! In other words, Let us fast track the process for you. Let us forgive kanu and his iniquities. A man who doesn’t even know the meaning of BIAFRA OR RESTUCTURING!

Isa Imodagbe – Looking at your Facebook picture, you looked at little bit responsible, but your write-up has denied you of being “responsible.” I may be wrong, but that’s the truth.
