Buhari Won’t Resign, He Has Done Nothing Wrong – Garba Shehu
Malam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, has urged protesters demanding the president’s resignation to do their research well as the president has not breached any part of the nation’s constitution.
The protesters had marched to Aso Rock on Monday, asking the president, who has been receiving medical attention in the UK since May 7, to either resume office or resign.
But addressing state house correspondents after the protest, Shehu maintained that the president has not gone against the constitution.
He said Buhari had fulfilled the demands of the law and people are only “looking for things to say”.
“They (protesters) are exercising their rights in line with the constitution of this country. Of what use or value is a democracy in which citizens cannot embark on peaceful protests? So, we respect their right to convene or undertake peaceful protest,” he said.
“On the second issue, whether the president should resign or disclose or whatever, I think they are stepping outside the laws of this country. Anyone conversant with the constitution of this country will have noticed or seen that Mr President has complied 100 per cent with the requirements of the constitution of this country.
“He has handed over power to the vice-president, relying on the constitution and the vice-president is carrying out with the affairs of this country, undertaking activities of government in line with the constitution in a way that the president himself has given words of commendation.
“So, the president has not breached any law. What he has done is perfectly in line with the constitution of this country and people are looking for things to say, I think they should do their research very well.”

The northerners are the very threat to Nigeria unity, see how they are defending their own out of religion and ethnic sentiments, yet they accuse others of hates and sentiments. If PMB is a southerner or even Igbo, they would have rally crowds to call for his resignation, or did the same PMB not call for resignation of Yaradua their own? The support for PMB is the most wicked support that have ever been experience in Nigeria and it all because of religious sentiments. Buhari is a Jihadist and northerners support Jihadist, this is why until today Boko haram can’t be defeated. I pity Yoruba’s supporting this evil administration out of greed, when the war they northerners have been planning erupt, the Yoruba’s will be consume more than other regions. Shame

“If the Executive Council of the Federation had acted in accordance with the constitution, by invoking the necessary sections to declare the President incapacitated, we would not have found ourselves in this present situation.”-Muhammadu Buhari March 10, 2010.
No one knows tomorrow… Just 10 years ago, PMB was the arrowhead of those taking political advantage of Yaradua’s condition, now the table has turned and he’s in the Kitchen feeling the heat too. They claimed that God has healed Buhari but only his Doctor could release him to Nigeria. It simply means that Buhari’s Doctor is too powerful and stubborn to even obey God and HIS mighty hand of delivery on his patient. What a county? I know that all the spies sent by the Jews that brought evil reports about Jericho perished before getting to the promised land. Buhari has become a global embarrassment to Nigeria. The man has lost all respects. How does a nation move forward when its President is spending the better part of his time abroad for medicare? If we don’t bled Buhari, Buhari will bleed Nigeria/Nigerians. It is high time the Senate impeach Buhari and let Osinbajo takeover and rule till 2027. The first thing Osinbajo should do is to sack Buratai, Idris and other services chiefs of President Buhari and replaced them with his own men. Where are the Bakares, Falanas, Soyinkas, Odumakins and others who staged the rally at Gani Fawehinmi’s park at Ojota. They should all hid their faces in shame. Buhari’s handlers should have told Nigerians what is wrong with him and all these anger will transform to sympathy for him.
WITHOUT LOVE, LIFE IS A MISTAKE.
