Father Of 10-yr-old Boy Shot By Okorocha’s Men During Demolition Of Eke-Ukwu Market Demands Justice
The father of the 10-year-old boy who was shot dead at popular Owerri market during the forceful demolition and violent eviction of traders by the Imo state government has asked for justice.
Three casualties were recorded in the demolition of the popular Eke-Ukwu market in Owerri, Imo state on Saturday after Governor Rochas Okorocha ordered the demolition of the market despite a subsisting court order stopping the demolition.
The bereaved father, narrating the incident said his son came to help him pack his goods out of the shop when the soldiers shot him dead.
His words: “I told my little son to come and assist me remove my goods from the shop before the people demolishing the market got to the place.
“When we were crossing the road, we all raised our hands up but these soldiers just drove by and opened fire and shot my son in the head.
“The bullet hit him in the eye and came out from the back of his head and he fell and died.
“I want justice. I don’t want the killers of my son to go unpunished. He was just a little boy, he was not armed. I don’t know if I can bear this.”

hmmmm…Rocha’s okorocha removes a 200 yr old ancestral market….hmmm…what that callous governor failed to find out is that there were ancestral sacrifices before that market was established… now he will attract ancestral curses upon his head and family….he should have consulted the traditional elders of that land and get their approval before demolitions…. now he’s in trouble….never remove an ancestral landmark…even the bible warns against that….

And that was what happened. If you ask the security personnel’s that were there they will tell u that they are surprise to what happened. They ( security agents) are ignorant of what happened. What happened was an evil spirit attack to get them a virgin blood and this evil spirit have been pushing all those concerned till its dream was fulfilled.
