Just In: UN Monitoring Nigerian Military’s ‘Show Of Force’ In South-East
The chairman and founder of Nigerian Young Professionals Forum, NYPF, Mr Moses Siloko Siasia on Tuesday said that the United Nations is interested in the Nigerian Military’s Operation Python Dance II in the Southeast.
Siasia revealed this via his twitter account.
He claimed to have received a call from the United Nations office in New York on the Nigeria’s military action.
The former governorship candidate in Bayelsa state was however silent on who called him and what the caller talked about.
Siasia, chairman of Mosilo Group, a wholly indigenous company, is also the younger brother of Samson Siasia, the former Nigerian international footballer and ex-coach of the Super Eagles.
The southeast geopolitical zone is currently under siege by the Nigerian military, due to the activities of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).

Other Army are for defense but our Army are liars and murderers of Nigerians
By Sani Bello
They lied about ending boko haram before december 2015, then lied about technically defeating boko haram, we still witnessed lies about technical monouvers to Cameroun, and their many time lies about killing Shekau, only for Shekau to be appearing in new videos later mocking them. Just recently the Army Chief gave 40 days ultimatum to capture Shekau, the ultimatum has elapsed, Shekau is still at large. And a day before yesterday they lied about the invasion of Nnamdi Kanu’s area. I can go on and on.
My problem is if the Army wants to kill Nnamdi Kanu why must they be lying to us? Between Nnamdi Kanu and Shekau who is a threat to Nigerian citizens? How does killing Nnamdi Kanu benefits us? Must Buhari compete with Pharaoh and Hitler in unjust bloodshedding? Why can’t they show their force at sambisa forest? Why must it be in a civilian area?
If we are to do away with sentiment and tell ourselves the basic truth, what is the crime of Nnamdi Kanu? He is asking for referendum, he is demanding for his people’s self determination. he has not taking arms against the state. And what’s wrong with that?
His only offense is insulting the president and our people which we are all guilty of such, who among our people that has never insulted GEJ or OBJ before? Does that offense justify military invasion that could lead to massacre? For God’s sake there was no breaking of law and order in Umuahia before the military operation, this is a democratic setting, military have no business in civil matter. Why the military invasion in the first place?
The same Nigerian Army that told the world that some Shiites have blocked their boss but instead of dealing with only those who blocked them alone, they went further to Sheikh Zakzaky’s house, another primary and secondary school, residential homes of many Shiites and burial grounds that are located at different places murdering hundreds of innocent people who have neither offended them nor were they present when their boss was blocked. They only used the blockade as a cover and committed an inhuman massacre of innocent defenseless men, women and children that they are being payed to defend.
Besides all that, since December last year a federal high court had declared Sheikh Zakzaky innocent and had given order for his release including payment of 50 million naira as compensation to him and his wife including provision of accommodation and security for them at any place of their choice within Nigeria. Tell me why Buhari is still disobeying that court order?
The good news is that the whole Governors, other politicians, Ohaneze Ndigbo and the entire people of the south-east are not as stupid as Northerners who were jubilating when soldiers were killing Shiites unjustly in Zaria. They have all come out together with one voice against the military invasion including Rochas Okorocha that people think he is with Buhari. No matter their differences no Southerner will support unjust mass murder of their people like foolish Northerners did during the Zaria massacre.
Interestingly even Afenifere of Yorubas have condemned the unlawful military operations. This is humanity, you must not agree with Nnamdi Kanu’s agitation in order to speak out against what is wrong. Unfortunately the nonsensical military operation has triggered unjust killings of Northerners in Abia and some part of Rivers state, credited to Buhari’s tyrannical approach and injustice. It is clear that majority of Southerners are not comfortable with this amalgamation and using military force cannot be the solution.
Injustice and bloodshed must be condemned by all mankind unconditionally.

Aliyu Saidu. I´m not surprised with your comment cause i know your religion is already all about killing. But you can kill but cant wipe out the race of Igbo´s. We are children of Isreal the true Isrealites. We will win this battle by creating out own Biafra land.
You people are angry because if Biafra seperate from the Zoo Nigeria.. %99 of Hausa people would die of hunger.. your race belongs to the dry land desert not well nurished and blessed Biafraland.
