Leaked: PSG Pay Neymar Over £600k

Neymar

The staggering numbers involved in Neymar’s sensational move to Paris Saint-Germain have been revealed as the Brazilian earns more than £600,000-a-week, according to SunSports.

Officially, Neymar has the world’s third-largest sports contract, behind Jiancarlo Stanton and Alex Rodriguez who are both Baseball players in the USA. But Neymar makes more than both baseballers combined annually. So essentially he is the highest paid sportsman in the world.

German media outlet Der Spiegel have got hold of some of the eye-watering figures involved in the deal and it’s easy to see why the forward couldn’t get to Paris quick enough in the summer.

Neymar, 25 quit Barcelona for the French capital in August for a world record fee, penned a five-year deal and is being paid a whopping £32.7million-a-year.

Break that figure down again and it amounts to a mind-blowing £88,000-a-day to strut his stuff in Ligue 1. The leak also reveals moneybags PSG will pay Barca up to £214m for the attacker over his five-year deal in France.

The details of the man to replace the Brazilian superstar at the Nou Camp have also been leaked, but Ousmane Dembele is a mere pauper compared to Neymar.

The French winger who moved to the Nou Camp after a year at Borussia Dortmund for £138m has more than quadrupled his cash in Catalonia.

The 20-year-old trousers £10m and will get an additional £3m if Barca win a treble. Neymar has enjoyed a great start to life in France, scoring on his debut as well as last week’s Champions League tie against Celtic.

The forward already looks to have struck up a telepathic understanding with Kylian Mbappe, who was a mere snip at a £166m. The former Barcelona forward and team-mate Edinson Cavani argued over who should take a penalty against Lyon last week.

It was the second time Neymar tried to stunt with Cavani who ironically had his spot kick saved. Neymar was then left out of the PSG squad who drew at Montpellier on Saturday.
