Nigeria Will NEVER Break Up – Bishop Oyedepo
David Oyedepo, presiding bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, says Nigeria will not break up in spite of its present challenges.
He said this in a satellite telecast of the church’s prayer session monitored by NAN in Jos on Monday.
The bishop had led the church in a 30-minute breakfast prayer for the country.
Oyedepo said it was made known to him via divine revelation in 1979 while praying for the well-being of the country that Nigeria would never disintegrate.
“The good news is that Nigeria will rise again to glory,” he assured.
The bishop led members in prayer for peace and prosperity of the country.
Prayers were also made for God to intervene and direct the government to make policies that would be to the benefit of the people and the country.
“Nigeria shall not see war; God will visit eternal silence on every religious bigot being used to cause war; there will be no bloodshed in the country
“Let Nigeria know peace; make this our independence gift; let every religious manipulator be stopped today.
“We shall not see war in this country again.
“God has given us peace today for the economic and industrial revolution of Nigeria as a great nation.
“No agent of the devil will cause problems (for this country).” [NAN]

We Christians must wake up from sleep. We pray much and act less. Prayer alone is not enough, unless accompanied with action.
James 2:14-26 NKJV – Faith Without Works Is Dead.
For instance, Nigeria Muslims are busy propagating/implementing Islam by all means, while Christians fold their hands and busy voicing “They (Muslims) will never succeed with their plan to Islamize Nigeria”
As of now Nigeria is a full member of the following Islamic bodies.
(A) Organization of Islamic countries (OIC).
(B) Islamic development bank.
(C) Islamic conference against terrorism.
(D) Sharia movement organization.
And mind you that any of above will never be challenged/reversed. Yet we have billionaire prophets/pastors etc. and our vice president is also a pastor but none of them dare do/say anything about the Islamisation agenda which is being carried out in Nigeria because they don’t want to be “martyr”.
And again, look at the happenings in Nigeria today: Murder, Slavery, Injustice, Hypocrisy, Dictatorship, Rape, Stagnation etc.
Our prophets/pastors/preacher etc. have turned blind, deaf and dumb as if nothing is happening, they forget that they were called to speak against the evil deeds, they all keep silent because they don’t want to be killed/martyr
I still can’t understand the work/mission of our modern Prophets/pastors etc.
I think they are not doing their jobs anymore, they focus on worldly things, they all focus on materialism, and they all want to be rich. No one preaches about heaven anymore, rather they preach prosperity, riches, breakthrough etc.
Does it mean that God doesn’t send our prophets/pastors/preacher like:

2 Timothy 3:12 “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
But our present prophets/pastors/evangelists etc, does not want to suffer but does everything humanly to be rich and enjoy word. They forget that:
