Anambra Guber: Saturday Election MUST Hold – Ohanaeze Replies IPOB
Ohanaeze Ndigbo,a socio-political organisation has dismissed claims by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) that those hoping to vote in next Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State will die.
Ohanaeze described those calling for the boycott of the election as enemies, stressing that elections must hold.
Chairman of Ohanaeze in Anambra State, Chief Okeke Ogene, who made the statement yesterday said failure of residents to vote will be creating fertile ground for enemies to thrive.
According to Ogene, “ Anambra people have agreed that there will be election in the state. If there is any group saying there won’t be election, we want to put it to that group that the election must hold.
“Anybody insisting that there won’t be election in Anambra State is an enemy of the people.
“If such a group succeeds in creating confusion here, it will only be preparing a fertile ground for our enemies to penetrate our territory.
“And if such a thing happens, the next likely thing to happen is a state of emergency, which will not be in the interest of our people.”
IPOB, had said that anybody who come out to cast their votes during the forthcoming governorship election in the state will die.

IPOB should mobile all the rain makers in Anambra state to perform their wonders on Saturday 18th November 2017 so that money-driven followers of the rich elites in Anambra state will not have the opportunity to risk their life in the name of voting for #1000 or #2000. May the souls of those that will be killed in their polling units and the souls Of all the faithful rest in peace, Amen

Ohaneze, don’t own Ndigbo youth, but Nnamdi KANU does. His incorruptible attitudes & restoration program has induced the mindset & spirit of the people.the philosophy to freedom is the language ,they seems to understood. The youth remains resolute & resilience towards their dream’s. # Nnamdi KANU is another saviour.

What IPOB will not and must not stop people wish to vote from going out to do so . Rather it is advising people to boycott the election in entirely., and this is not a crime but an act of civil disobedience. However, IPOB has cautioned those people who wish to out to vote that they more likely to hurt, if not killed by the Nigerian security services and blame the killings on IPOB. This is the Nigerian government plan to further justifies its folly in tagging IPOB a terror Organization and the reason for proscribing it. Therefore please stay at home and do not venture out to vote on 18 November 2017 if you value your life. Enough said !
