President Buhari Presides Over First 2018 FEC Meeting

The first weekly federal executive council meeting in the year 2018, is been presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The FEC meeting is holding at the council chamber of the presidential villa in Abuja and has in attendance Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and several other top government functionaries.

Others present at the meeting are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, Head of Service, Mrs Winifrey Oyo-Ita, the National Security Adviser , retired Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno, and Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari.

The council is expected to receive and deliberate on reports from the federal ministry of transport as part of its agenda.

The meeting commenced at about 11:00am in the morning.
