Fayose Speaks On Burning Of Falae’s Farm By Fulani Herdsmen

Ayo Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has reacted to the setting ablaze of a farm belonging to the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Olu Falae by Fulani herdsmen.

Reacting, Fayose said Chief Falae an elder statesman did not deserve such brutality from herdsmen.

Fayose further called on Buhari’s government to protect Nigerians from herdsmen.

On his twitter page, he wrote: “I sympathize with one of our leaders in Yorubaland, Chief Olu Falae on the reported burning of his farm by suspected herdsmen. I am worried about the incessant attacks on Chief Falae by herdsmen and govt should act decisively to curb the menace.

“If Chief Falae is still farming at his age, what he needs from govt and Nigerians is support, not destruction of his crops by herdsmen.

“Methinks govt at all levels should protect Nigerians, especially our elder statesmen from criminal elements like the herdsmen.”
