Police Finally Drags Dino Melaye To Lokoja

The embattled senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West senatorial district of Kogi State has finally been taken to Lokoja the state capital by the Nigeria Police.

Information gathered revealed that he was ferried to the state at 4:00pm yesterday and he will be arraigned in court today for illegal possession of fire arms brought against him.

Melaye was re-arrested at the premises of the magistrate court in Abuja shortly after he was granted bail in the sum of N90 million for an attempt to commit suicide and escape from the lawful custody.

The senator had expressed worry that his life is in danger and may be killed if is facing trial in Lokoja.

The Nigeria police, on Thursday, arraigned Melaye at the Magistrate court in Lokoja.
