Buhari‘ll Never Win In Kano, Kwankwaso Replies Rotimi Amaechi

Kwankwaso

Following the massive defection that struck All Progressives Congress, (APC) this week, in tandem with the statement credited to the minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi wherein Amaechi said that nothing would prevent President Muhammadu Buhari from winning the forthcoming 2019 general election, Rabiu Kwankwaso the former governor of Kano state on Saturday replied Amaechi.

Kwankwaso through his spokesperson, Binta Spikin said that Buhari would lose in Kano even though he uses federal might.

“Even if the government puts whatever in place, there is no way President Buhari will win in Kano, there’s no way”, Binta said.

Recall that Ameachi had said the following when he was inspecting Itakpe-Warri rail line on Friday, “Do you honestly believe that the president will lose election in this country? Well nobody is God, but that is one of his comfort zones. The next person that left from Bauchi, if you bring president on a sick bed in Bauchi, he will win. He has never lost election in Bauchi.”

“One thing about me in the political history of Nigeria, nobody has been in doubt on where I stand, one quality I have and Nigerians believe is that I’m honest. I never hid my feelings.

“Nigerians will certainly reject a second looting, Nigeria cannot survive another looting, call me all the rich men in Nigeria, everybody depends on government.

“Sixty percent of Nigerian rich men depend on government. Only three years that they remove the breast milk everybody is complaining”, he said.

But reacting today according to Premium Times, Mrs Spikin said Mr Kwankwaso’s defection will not only affect the votes in Kano State but has brought down the APC.

Her words, “I think his defection will greatly affect the votes in 2019. His defection will not only affect the chances of the APC in Kano, his defection has brought down APC.

“If you look across Nigeria today, not Kano alone, there’s nowhere in Nigeria that you don’t have the presence of Kwankwasiyya (supporters of Mr Kwankwaso).

“Kano is his home base and he is well grounded in Kano. Even without the government, he had a 60 percent of the voters, so what do you think will happen now that he has joined forces with people like Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau?

“Even if the government puts whatever in place, there is no way President Buhari will win in Kano, there’s no way.

“He stands a very good chance to win Buhari. We are covered.”

    “YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING….”

    History Being Repeated?

    In 1983 :

    $1 = N 1
    £1 = N2 ;

    Volkswagen Beetle = N1,400 ;

    Food was in abundance ;

    Kids were in schools;

    Businesses were booming with vibrant economy and people were gainfully employed ;

    No illegal arrests or media trials ;

    Rule of law was maintained, etc.
    |
    |
    |

    But, on 31 December 1983, he and his group struck, under the pretence of willing to tackle “perceived”
    widespread corruption”, and, within few months :
    .
    $1 = N15
    £1 = N40 ;

    Volkswagen Beetle car = N8, 000 ;

    Kids dropped out of school because their parents couldn’t afford their school fees anymore ;

    Businesses closed down and relocated to other countries ;

    Foods were rationed as people queued up for essential commodities ;

    Many Nigerians lost their jobs because the economy collapsed ;

    Innocent Nigerians were arrested for free speech and human rights violated with impunity under “Decree 4” ;

    The Constitution was suspended, etc.

    He blamed Shehu Shagari’s administration for the mess.

    He blamed corruption, yet he jailed Dr. Alex
    Ekwueme (the then Vice President) but left Shehu
    Shagari (the President) in his palace.
    |
    |
    |
    But when another group threw him out in 1985, within few months, Nigerians started smiling again. Our kids returned to school,
    food was in abundance again, Nigerians got their jobs back and the economy was revived etc.

    In 2015:
    .
    $1 = N175-190
    £1 = N289-320 ;

    Cars were affordable, with local
    manufacturers smiling to the bank ;

    Food was in abundance (at least a bag of rice was N7, 000, etc,) ;

    Kids were in school ;

    Businesses were booming with vibrant economy rated #1 in Africa after recapitalization ;

    No illegal arrests or media trials ; etc.

    On 29 May, 2015, when he was ‘Jega-ed’ into power :

    $1 = N315-510
    £1 = N550-610 ;

    Local car manufactures shut down their plants due to harsh operating economic conditions ;

    Famine was unleashed on Nigerians and a bag of rice rose

    I deliberately refused to join issues with already decided individual. On the current state of Nigeria, is a consequence we must face, which its almost unavoidable, which the route to it has been up, for more than a decade. But ignorantly many felt its normal, now the result is what we are seeing, haters felt magic past leaders couldn’t achieved for 16year a leader will achieve it within 3years, it a lie.
    Buhari has performed below expectation, especially to those who heavily gained from previous government and now losing ground and loot. Then give me a better and acceptable person to take over from Buhari. Point a vibrant, visionary, courageous, fearless and trustworthy Nigeria that opposition party could present for general acceptance. Then I will know we are ready to progress and not talk without action.

    The woe Nigeria is in today as acclaimed by many, was planned long ago, failure to plan is a preparation to fail.

    For every patriotic Nigerian, we need prayers than never for total overhauling of our polity and the space and most importantly the youth.

    Many refer to Macron of France, without reading his history. He did not just find himself in government accidentally, he has strive successfully as a minister in France government for years, before vying for president, which he won.

    Insecurity took another dimension in this government, which everyone felt concerned, but we must not forgot what it was some 4, 5years ago. Which moved from Northeast to North central, Abuja was heavily hit. Have we forgotten so soon or since you can work freely in Abuja and environ, you easily forgot? Those within Nyaya, Mararaba, Kuje, Bannex, Suleja…… Can explain better.

    Roads completed within Abuja metropolis in this government, it has never been so. South Eastern, states will explain their gains since 2015 till date, which they have not gotten since 1999, South south was not out as well as South West.

    Since 1999, when has Elites of Nigeria feel more pain and uneasy as now? Reason for this is what I expected Nigeria youth to source for.
    Free money is no longer available.

    Come to cities and see fake lives, since 2015 people now live original life, many mansions are begging for tenant but to no avail.

    People now patronise public school the more, as private schools were forced to downgrade the cost of tutor fee.
    I can continue to list and list.
    Many jobless youth on the social media were jobless before 2015, so remaining so, how is Buhari the curse of your ordeal?
    I believe and strongly believe, many has gotten good job, some partial, some Npower, while some sooner than expected.
    My village and about seven other communities, power (electricity) was cut off for more than five years or there about. But today power it restored and development has never been as it is at the moment.

    Though good governance, development, social and economy is far from normal, but I thank God and present government as I yearn, aspire for a better days for better infrastructure across every corner in Nigeria.

    I will not stop without emphasising that, as an individual you have the right to your opinion as such you also have the right to respect other peoples right of view or opinion. We must not understand things in the same way.
    Make your critics constructively and not destructively. We own our leaders duty to pray for them, just the way you wanted one to pray for you, as we are all leaders in our various level.For those of you shouting :”Is Buhari the only alternative for 2019?”, I just realised that you are overflowing with humility, hence the reason why you couldn’t come out publicly to say :”I am a better alternative to Buhari”. I am sure you know that shortest road to INEC office, nobody is stopping you from grabbing a form as a potential presidential candidate and Buhari alternative.
