We’re Doing This Work Because Of God, Says Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari says he and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), are working hard towards delivering their campaign promises “because of God”, the country and the party’s supporters.
Buhari said this in Bauchi on Thursday at the commencement of the campaign rally for the Bauchi South Senatorial District by-elections and the formal presentation of the APC Candidate for the August 11 poll, Hon. Gumau Lawal Yahaya.
He also assured party supporters in Bauchi that his administration would continue to work hard to surpass its campaign promises for a better Nigeria.
He urged them not to be perturbed by the recent defections in the party, saying “God will continue to fish out the bad eggs among us” as the 2019 general election approaches.
Buhari told the rally that the APC-led government had remained faithful in implementing its campaign promise of improving the economy, securing the country, and the fight against corruption.
“The work we are doing is because of God, our country and you. I want to inform you that the knowledge we have garnered over the years, we won’t allow you to be cheated,” his spokesman, Femi
Adesina, quoted him as saying “to a thunderous applause by party supporters at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.”.
“Like we promised, what will determine a good future for the country are security, strong economy and to stop corruption.
“We campaigned on these things, you voted for us and we will never forget.”
Endorsing the APC candidate for the senatorial bye-election, the President, who was accompanied by the party Chairman Adams Oshiomhole and the governors of Bauchi, Plateau, Kano and Imo states, declared: “We have confidence in him and we trust him.”
He, therefore, urged the people of Bauchi South senatorial district to vote Hon. Yahaya in the upcoming election.

Only a Coward who is lacking exposure politically of the history of this greedy selfish self impose political criminals jumping from left to right for their hedonistic madness will celebrate them. if Buhari is not doing right they won’t have all runaway. I believe so much that Buhari is doing one thing right and that’s why they are all running helter skelter like sheep looking for shade to hide .Buhari has refused to give in for them to shortchange government effort and loot our resources .he has refused to allow them misused our resources. he has began to set records by building infrastructure’s, road, railway, and Nigeria owned air Nigeria. Buhari has began to win the war against political killings and boko haram the enemy’s of Nigerian’s form political herdsmen in disguise killing innocent citizens for blackmails and propaganda by propagandist.Buhari has reposition Nigeria globally as a great nation again. They should tell us what Buhari is not doing well 3years is too small to criticized the government which came to the recuse of the poor citizens from 16years of inhuman to humanity. 3years is too small to pass an F to the government that rescue us from recession to recovery. We are so blind to reality and have forgotten that one reason kept Nigerian’s in this mess today …the PDP lead government that institutionalised corruption and openly declared that looting, embezzlement an grab it all syndrome is not corruption. They believed that stealing is not corruption so they loot out the future of this country send it abroad create job and boost their economy while their families remain overseas enjoying what is meant for us in this country. is their any from of injustice and selfishness more than this? While you remain jobless and going to dilapidated universities and polytechnic their children are in world best schools and while we are dying of lack of medical infrastructure they fly abroad for medical. and once they graduate they comes back to this country and get employed while you are their supporting their father to embezzle more an you end up a street thugs or bodyguard and cleaner to this people children. Is time to see beyond the vision and mission of PMB he is for a better Nigeria. Sentiment and politicking aside PMB is the Jesus of Nigeria…. If PDP is the only solution to this country APC is also a solution except if we stand to fight corruption and form a new political coalition out of this crooks and criminals. This country must understand the deferences between government, governance and political criminals that are deceiving you for favour to loot and live us as poor as ever. As an advocate of change I wrote this for the love of my country Nigeria .as an advocate of change I urge Nigerian’s to open their eyes for the dreams we ever want is a better Nigeria for all.Benue Gov defects, says APC has failed, Kwara Gov defects, says APC has failed. Sokoto Gov defects, says APC has failed. These are the same men that represented APC in their various states. If they are saying APC failed, are they not indirectly telling you that they have failed?

SOME OF US WORK WITH FACTS AND NOT EMOTIONS!
Between Presidents Obasanjo, Jonathan and Buhari.
Record has it that president Obasanjo sacked his IGP Tafa Balogun for corruption. He sacked the then Senate President Adolfus Wabara for corruption. He also sacked his own ministers, Fabian Osuji, S.M Afolabi, Hussein Akwanga, Tim Menakaya, etc for corruption. He also sacked Mrs Mobolaji Osomo for administrative infraction. The same way late president Umaru Musa Yar’Adua sacked Mrs Adenike Grange as Minister of Health for administrative infraction.
It’s on records that president Jonathan also sacked Stella Odua for corruption. Stella Odua was one of the most powerful ministers in president Jonathan’s administration. But when she erred, President Jonathan sacked her. President Jonathan also sacked Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina as the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform for corruption.
Now, tell me who president Buhari has sacked for the reported cases of corruption in his government?
Mind you, If you tell me that president Buhari sacked Babachir, I will happily remind you that the same president Buhari wrote the Senate, defended and exonerated Babachir of all wrong doings leveled against him. It was the cry of people like you and me and some other good Nigerians that forced him to sack Babachir and have him replaced with his own brother, Boss Mustapha. In other words, Mr. Babachir brought his own replacement.
Yet, some hero worshipping obsessive dim-wits will still want me to believe that president Buhari is Mr. Integrity and that he is fighting corruption.
Let me also remind you that president Buhari also reappointed the following guys who were all sacked for corruption and violation of their oaths of offices:
Abdulrasheed Maina:
Maina was the chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform. He was secretly recalled and reinstated by president Buhari. He was even promoted to the position of director in charge of human resources in the ministry of interior. Maina was dismissed by president Jonathan in 2013 following recommendations by the Office of the Head of Service. He was said to have stolen about 100billion naira from the pension fund.
CP Zakari Biu:
CP Biu was dismissed following his complicity in the escape from police detention of notorious Boko Haram suspect, Kabiru Sokoto. He was reinstated and promoted to the rank of AIG by president Buhari before he was gloriously retired from active service.
NHIS Boss, Prof Usman Yusuf:
Prof Yusuf was said to have squandered over 997 million naira from the schemes intervention fund. Investigation was carried out and he was dully sacked by the minister of health. But because he is president Buhari’s brother, he was recently reinstated.
Mallam Ahmed Saleh.
Saleh was the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court. He connived with two others (Mohammed Abdulrahaman Sharif and Rilwanu Lawal) and stole 2.2 billion naira belonging to the apex court. They were also said to have received gratifications totaling 74.4 million naira from private contractors who were providing services to the apex court. Mallam Saleh was sacked but president Buhari reinstated him and promoted him as the Secretary of Legal Council of Nigeria.
Don’t ever tell me that president Buhari is fighting corruption. Facts on ground are showing otherwise. Some of us work with facts not emotions.
