Kwankwaso’s Declaration: Eagle Square Belongs To All Nigerians – Saraki Blasts Buhari Govt
President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has condemned the last minute cancellation of the approval granted to Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to use the Eagle Square for his 2019 presidential declaration.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu and made available to ORIENTAL TIMES in Abuja, Saraki stated that the “Eagle Square belongs to all Nigerians” and the cancellation sends a wrong message about the tolerance level in our politics.
“The refusal to allow Senator Kwankwaso to utilize the Eagle Square for his Presidential declaration, despite an earlier approval, sends a wrong message about our democracy, particularly the tolerance level in our politics.
“That square belongs to all Nigerians because it was built with public funds. We hope this is not what we will be seeing as we approach the 2019 General Elections,” the Senate President said.

He always go for cheap publicity.
Knowing fully well that Kwankwaso’s event coincided with the visit of British prime minister and in the same vicinity.
This NASS actor is still making a cheap point.
Should anything terrible happen, he would be the first person to bash the executive and make big meal of it.

Saraki is Enemy of our Democracy…What do you call padding of budgets and deliberate delay of budgets passing? How about refusing to resign when you are no longer in the majority especially when in a democracy? When your armed thugs who transformed into armed robbers invaded a bank and killed over 30 Nigerians with your name mentioned and you refused to resign. Does that speak well about our democracy? Abeg if anybody must talk about democracy it should not be Saraki.

Sure, let’s allow Kwankwaso and his crowd mingle with the visit and movement of the British prime minister so that if anything goes wrong, we can have a nice day bashing the executive and security agencies for recklessness. That is assuming that the life of the visiting Prime minister isn’t threatened in anyway giving the Brits excuse for political, economic or even military action.
Of course Kwankwaso cannot reschedule, because if he uses Eagle Square on any other day apart from today, he will suffer from constipation.
