Boko Haram Releases Pictures Of Attack On Gudumbali Borno Town

Boko Haram

Boko Haram has released pictures from their attack on Gudumbali Borno town hours after they dislodged the Nigerian army and recaptured the headquarters of Guzamala Local Government Area in the northern part of Borno State.

The lengthy gun battle started on Friday night. Pictures show their attack on military positions as well as seized weapons from Nigerian soldiers.

The Islamic State released the photos last night, Sunday night after they seized the town on Saturday.

The Nigerian Army had confirmed the attack by Boko Haram on Gudumbali town in a statement on Sunday.

The statement noted that “the encounter between Boko Haram and Nigerian soldiers took place when the insurgents attacked the community, set some buildings ablaze and quickly withdrew from the community”.

The Army also claimed that no human casualty was recorded during the encounter, noting that “troops have regrouped and normalcy has been restored”.

Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, Director, Army Public Relations, urged residents to remain calm as its troops responded to the attacks.

The Nigerian Army said on Sunday that troops had recaptured Gudumbali town in northern Borno state from Boko Haram terrorists.

Nigeria soldiers are only good in killing innocent protesters in the street, and they are weak in battle.

The only reason why Nigeria soldiers are happy going to south east is because they have not met resistance, they knew that ipob are not armed,if assuming they have met with gorilla warfare in south east i think they will be scared to do python dance over there.
