Ambode Refuses To Collect His APC Membership Card

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, Tunde Balogun, has responded to the claims made by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode about his membership card.

Yesterday during his world press conference, Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, pointed out that he does not yet have his APC membership card and that the party has now brought a rule stating that only members of the party with valid membership cards would be allowed to vote at the governorship primaries now slated for tomorrow, Tuesday October 2nd.

Ambode insinuated that the party is out to disenfranchise some of its members, including himself.

Addressing newsmen at the party secretariat in Acme, the chairman says he made several attempt to reach the Governor but, he rejected his phone calls.

He used the opportunity to display the Governor’s membership card and asked him to come for it at the party secretariat.
