BREAKING: Hope Uzodinma Defeats Okorocha’s Son-In-Law To Emerge Imo APC Guber Candidate

Senator Hope Uzodinma has been declared winner of the APC governorship primaries in Imo state, defeating Governor Rochas Okorocha’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu and other aspirants.

According to reports declared by Ahmed Gulak, Uzodinma recorded 423,895 votes to emerge the party’s flag bearer for the 2019 governorship elections.

Nwosu came seventh with just 10, 329 votes in the party primaries held on Tuesday.

There were earlier fears about the whereabouts of Ahmed Gulak, chairman of the APC Imo state primary election committee after he was initially declared missing from his hotel room prior to the primary elections.

ORIENTAL TIMES recalls Rochas Okorocha has always supported Nwosu to be governor after him.
