BREAKING: Osun Governor-elect, Oyetola, Dep Gov, Alabi, Receive Certificate Of Return From INEC
The Governor-Elect of Osun State, Mr Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola, and his running mate on Wednesday received the certificate of return from the authorities of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The certificates of return, which was endorsed by the national chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu was presented by the INEC’s director of legal service, Barrister Oluwatoyin Babalola.
Earlier, the Osun State Resident Electoral Commissioner of INEC, Mr Olusegun Agbaje reiterated the impartiality of the electoral umpire while both the September 22, 2018 gubernatorial poll and the rerun election of last Thursday lasted.
Speaking shortly after being presented with the certificate of return, Oyetola commended INEC for conducting credible elections, just as he expressed his appreciation to the generality of the people in the state, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), relevant stakeholders for their immense support and collaboration.
