PDP Convention: Tambuwal Receives Backing Of Governors [LIVE UPDATES]

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State is receiving backing of some governors and stakeholders to emerge as the PDP’s candidate for presidency, ORIENTAL TIMES has learnt.

Reports from Port Harcourt also say aspirants in the PDP presidential primaries have entered a meeting ahead of the convention.

The agenda for the meeting is not clear, but it is not unrelated to last-minute shuffles before the primaries kick off, correspondents say.
