#PDPConventionPHC: Heavy Tension As Voting Ends, Sorting Begins
Tension has gripped the 12 presidential aspirants as vote sorting and counting begins on Sunday at the 2018 elective national convention of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Some of the aspirants who are currently at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, the venue of the convention, included former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Sokoto governor Aminu Tambuwal.
The party accredited 3,274 delegates who voted to pick a presidential candidate.
The delegates came from the 36 states and federal capital territory (FCT).
The vote sorting and counting is being closely monitored by the 12 aspirants and their agents.
