Analyzing Nnamdi Kanu’s List Of Appreciation

Not everyone who listens to Kanu loves him. Some listen to find reasons to drive home their hatred for him. Others listen so that their beliefs in him may be strengthened. Either way, Nnamdi Kanu influences them.

One distinct take away from the broadcast is that Kanu spent a reasonable time to appreciate those who have helped him one way or the other. And intermittently he inserted names of individuals he respect. This proves that Kanu doesn’t see himself as self sufficient. This also proves that he realizes his weaknesses, and relies on others for their strengths.

The names he mentioned spawned across divides of religion, activism, politics and friendship. The names of Donald Trump, and B.B Netanyahu, America’s president and Israeli Prime Minister respectively should strike a chord. He mentioned the names of Archbishop Anthony Obinna. This is the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri. This singular mention is highly symbolic and instructive.

He Mentioned Archbishop MSC Anikwenwa, the Archbishop Emeritus of the Anglican Communion, Awka Diocese. He mentioned Evangelist Elliot Uko, Prof Ben Nwabueze, Mrs. Marie Okwo, Chief Mbazuluike Amaechi, Asari Dokubo, and Gov. Ayo Fayose.

Others are his sureties, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and Oka Ben Madu whom he described in glowing terms. Then towards the end of his speech, he spoke so lovingly of Pa Ayo Adebanjo as a very truthful man. And of course, his lawyers, Ifeanyi Ejiofor and Aloy Ejimakor were featured prominently.

Now for those who know, Anikwenwa, Nwabueze, Marie Okwo, and Mbazuluike (whom he described as very good people) are respected Igbo elders. This shows his respect for elders. He listens to them, and he has their blessings. This should put a stop on the accusation that he doesn’t listen to elders.

JVC Obinna and Elliot Uko are church men. This buttresses the claim he made that he is not an idol worshiper. I hope we get the lesson in this singular mention.

Asari Dokubo is an activist, his mention is not out of place, likewise that of Fayose. This shows that Kanu respects and value friendship.

Netanyahu’s frequent mention in the address, and the glowing birthday tributes he paid to him should register to skeptics the strategic alliance that is beginning to forge between IPOB and the state of Israel. The mention of the British Parliament, Germany and singling out the name of America’s president should further lend credence to the in routes to those countries. This equally reveals that IPOB as an activist group is no longer alone.

Now, particular attention must be paid to the location of the broadcast. If he was making empty speech without the approval of the countries mentioned, especially Israel, he would have been embarrassed by the Israeli intelligence.

Now for those that understands world politics, whoever has the backing of Israel automatically has the backing of America. IPOB has intelligently made herself the darling of the World Powers. This is no mean feat.

As for me, I am just an analyst.
