Atiku/Obi Presidential Projects Is A Mirage, I Won’t Waste My Vote – Chuma
Former gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and a chieftain of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA in Anambra State, Ogbuefi Harris Chuma, has described the Atiku/Obi Presidential project as a mirage.
The APGA chieftain who spoke to newsmen said that he had received calls and several messages from notable interest groups and individuals from Anambra State urging him to key-in and support Atiku/Obi Campaign Team. He said that most of the callers had maintained that as a renowned Igbo culture advocate that he had no reason not to support Mr. Peter Obi. They wanted him to see and treat it as an Igbo political agenda. But having maintained his earlier stance on not supporting the project, they began to attack his personality obviously for not aligning with their political thoughts and for distancing himself.
Ogene Igbo as he is popularly known also said that he had been accused wrongly as they maintained that APGA Anambra was sponsoring him to launch massive media attacks against Peter Obi. He advised the purported overzealous self appointed media aides, and official media handlers of Peter Obi to thread with caution.
Chuma said, “Let it be understood, I have no faith in Atiku/Obi Presidential mirage and will not waste my vote. That’s my opinion and it is not binding on them. I’m a Nationalist; one who frowns seriously at ethnic bigots. Make no mistakes about it, the much canvassed Igbo political agenda is far detached from Atiku/Obi Presidential blues. The project is simply a mirage and I stand to be proven wrong “.
