Nigerian Govt Sponsoring Nnamdi Kanu To Cause Crisis In Igboland — Uwazuruike
Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has accused the Federal Government of aiding the leader of the Indigenous People of Baifra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu to cause crisis in Igboland.
Uwazuruike, who is the founder of the Movement for the Actualisation for Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the Biafran Independent Movement (BIM) stated this on Saturday in Owerri while speaking with journalists, wondering how Kanu could escape out of the country when all his travel documents had been seized by the government.
The MASSOB leader said: “How can Kanu leave the shores of this country when all his traveling documents had been seized? He was aided by government agents so that the Federal Government will have reasons to terrorise our people anyhow.”
According to him, Kanu was not working for Biafra but for pecuniary reasons, personal interest and self aggrandisement.
It would be recalled that Uwazuruike had recently alleged that the disappearance of Kanu in the aftermath of the invasion of his home in Umuahia and his appearance in Israel was prearranged by the Department of State Services, DSS.
The DSS has however denied the allegation.
