Senator Joshua Lidani representing Gombe South in North East has quitted the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The 61-year-old second term senator studied Law at Ahmadu Bello University.
He defected on the floor of the senate on Wednesday.
