Osinbajo, Obi, 3 Others Clash In Vice Presidential Debate Today

Yemi Osinbajo

Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, and the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, will clash in a highly-anticipated vice presidential debate scheduled to take place on Friday, December 14, 2018.

The debate, organised by the Nigeria Elections Debate Group (NEDG) and the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON), will pit the running mates of five parties against one another in the debate that’ll take place at 7:00pm at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

The parties that’ll participate in the debate are the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), the Young Progressive Party (YPP), and the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN).

Osinbajo is the running mate to President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC while Obi is the running mate to Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, of the PDP. The 2019 presidential election is billed to be a direct contest between both parties.

Other participants in Friday’s debate are Abdul-Ganiyu Galadima, the running mate to Obiageli Ezekwesili (ACPN), Umma Getso, the running mate to Kingsley Moghalu (YPP), and Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya, the running mate to Fela Durotoye (ANN).

The debate will be transmitted live by all BON member stations and on various social media platforms.

Obi is lecturing these guys on Economics and Statistics.

    PMB is afraid of debate.
Debate with who? When ever i listen to this comment i laugh. These are people that one can never believe to accept such considering their level of intelligence. It will take those with amnesia to say that President Muhammadu Buhari, who has addressed gatherings of eminent world personalities in different fora, above all is the United Nations (UN) who are first class graduates of top class world universities freely with ease to be afraid of an Atiku who is yet to address common ECOWAS union.
I have rummaged Atiku’s profile endlessly, he is neither first class graduate of University or graduate of first class University. It keeps me thinking why PMB an American trained master degree holder, former Head of State and Executive President should be afraid of former Vice President and diploma certificate holder for that matter.
Intellectually, Atiku is a no match to PMB, if they both entered the box, it will shock you what will happen to your Articulated-in- Articulate material.
Please let us put-on our thinking cap to think well. The dialogue on who will be next President was over long ago, “Die is cast” already, the PVC carriers are only waiting for time (d-day) to make their stand known to the world.
The beauty of Democracy is “minority will always have their say and majority will have their way”.
Mark my word “the people will never go back to Egypt again”, if you know you know!
