BREAKING: Jimoh Moshood Sacked As Police PRO, Frank Mba Takes Over
The spokesperson of the Nigerian police, Jimoh Moshood, a deputy commissioner of police, has been sacked.
Mr Moshood, who many believed to be controversial was replaced by Frank Mba.
The former police spokesperson would be remembered for describing the Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, as a “sinking man” when he appeared on Channels television program.
The new spokesman, Mr Mba studied law at the University of Lagos, and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2002.
He hails from Ezimo in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, was the best graduating cadet inspector in academics at the Police Academy, Kano, in 1993.
He rose up the police ladder and was promoted to assistant superintendent of police in 1999, deputy superintendent of police in 2003, superintendent of police in 2006 and chief superintendent of police in 2012.

But you can’t blame Jimoh Moshood if you appreciate the dynamics of management. You must execute the laid down policy of the board or instructions whether you like it or not. Or can you stop the action of a soldier after he had received the order. In no time now, we would begin to witness Frank Mba’s fault. Not until we have an independent institutions, before we begin to savour the effects of good governance. Bring an angel now, the result would still be the same!
