The Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt has granted a stay of execution of the judgement of the Federal High Court nullifying all primaries of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State.

According to Wikipedia: “A stay of execution is a court order to temporarily suspend the execution of a court judgment or other court order. ” The judgments of Jusrice Chinwendu Nwogu and Justice Kolawole Omotosho remain valid. There were no valid primaries and congresses for the Rivers State APC
