BREAKING: Tambuwal Re-Elected As PDP Wins Sokoto Rerun
Governor Aminu Tambuwal, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, has been reelected governor of Sokoto state, northern Nigeria.
ORIENTAL TIMES reports that the nation’s main opposition party polled 512,002 votes in total to defeat the APC’s Ahmad Aliyu who got 511,661.

Meanwhile, Tambuwal had a narrow escape as the final election result shows that the PDP defeated APC with just a difference of 341 votes.
