BREAKING: Election Petition Tribunal Rules In Favour Of PDP

The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Sitting in Umuahia, the Abia State Capital on Thursday, Dismissed two Petitions filed by Barr Kelenna Ogbonna of the ADC and one filed by Action Peoples Party APP against the Electoral Victory of the 2019 governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

The Tribunal while ruling on the Two Petitions EPT/AB/GOV/003/2019 and EPT/AB/GOV/004/2019 dismissed the two Petitions over failed Representation in Court on Thursday.

The respondent Governor Ikpeazu had asked the court to dismiss the matter, as neither the petition nor their legal representative was in Court.

The Tribunal subsequently dismissed the two Cases.

The tribunal is now left with that of Dr Alex Otti and Ogah adjourned till the 27th of May, 2019.
