Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Arrives US, Insists “We Must Sit-At-Home” On May 30

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has arrived the United States.

Kanu announced his safe arrival via his handle on micro-blogging website, Twitter.

ORIENTAL TIMES had reported that the pro-Biafra group announced a sit-at-home on May 30 for the remembrance of those that died during the Nigeria-Biafra civil war that lasted for three years (1967 – 1970)

The IPOB leader who reiterated his earlier call for a sit-at-home across ‘Biafraland’ also stated that “the duty to honour our fallen heroes is a task we must accomplish.

Kanu wrote:

I’ve arrived in the US safely. Thanks to Chukwu Okike Abiama for His mercies. The duty to honour our fallen heroes is a task we must accomplish.
On #BiafraHeroesDay2019 we must #SitAtHome across Biafraland.
