The Predators Have Gone Mad Again

I have never seen a tribe so arrogant and daring like the Fulani tribe. This is not a statement of bigotry, but an apt description of the ugly situation currently staring us in the face. The last twenty four hours has been a time for deep introspection for me after encountering a ridiculous statement and plan (establishment of vigilante group) credited to Miyetti Allah, a dreaded terrorist organization that is masquerading as Cattle Breeders Association. According to World Terror Index, Fulani herdsmen cum Miyetti Allah is rated fourth most dreaded terrorist organization in the world.

I must warn whosoever beating the war drum these Fulani herders are dancing with so much audaciousness to desist from it. My sole purpose is to state in clear words that the instigator of this political tension should have a rethink or the outcome of this war song will consume every thing and everyone in its wake.

In fact, Miyetti Allah should, as a matter of national security and respect, issue a press statement: first, debunk the purported Vigilante Group they intend to establish in the South East region and, second, apologise to Ndi Igbo for making such an irresponsible statement.

Let’s Reason Together My People:

We should ask ourselves these simple questions. The arrogant Miyetti Allah of a group, which region(s) do they come from? What is the security situation in those areas? The world can affirmatively attest to the fact that these places have suffered a huge security set back because of terrorism and all manner of ruthless banditry. The volatile security situation in the North East and North West has arrested economic and political development over the last ten years. It surprises me to a great extent how a people whose region has been ravaged by terror will dare conceive a very idiotic idea of setting up a vigilante group to watch over a people whose enclave has been adjudged to be the most peaceful place in Nigeria.

What an utter misplacement of priority! How can Miyetti Allah be suggesting the establishment of their terror group in South East when their people are being eaten up like crickets by terrorists and bandits on daily basis. What is the sense in such witless plan? Miyetti Allah has no business whatsoever in the South East. It is rather unfortunate that our hospitality has been misunderstood as cowardice and weakness.

Miyetti Allah shouldn’t play smart. We already know what they’re brewing, but my assurance is that our collective resilience and resistance must surely smoke them out. If Miyetti Allah does not know, we have read several accounts given by most victims who were kidnapped by their marauding foot soldiers on our high ways. Several kidnapped victims in the South East region of Nigeria who were taken into the thick forest have strongly maintained that their captors were Fulani militias. Some of these victims who are mostly women were raped in the presence of their spouses. Victims are sexually abused and subjected to varying degrees of trauma. The release of any victim can’t be made possible without the family monetarily rewarding the militias handsomely. This is the present reality staring us on the face.

Dirty narratives abound about the criminal voyage of the same notorious militia gang in the South East. Our mothers and sisters can’t visit the farms again because it has become a theatre of war for these depraved killers. Miyetti Allah and their battalion of untrained army have forcefully taken over our farms and converted it into grazing reserves. Whenever our fathers raise an eye brow and push to protect their wives and daughters, they face instant attack which has resulted to most of them being butchered beyond recognition. Even the ones that survive the horror, sometimes suffer serious injuries that render them incapacitated for life. There is no kind of atrocious act the Fulani terror movement hasn’t committed in the South East and Nigeria as a whole. Their terror exploits are properly documented for future reference.

Miyetti Allah , for the sake of common sense, should help their poor and primitive lives by putting plan in motion on how the North East and North West can be liberated from the shackles of terrorism and banditry, which is almost dragging the caliphate empire into extinction. What sane man will choose to quench a small fire that engulfed his neighbour’s house when his own house is at the brink of infernal destruction. It is nothing but stupidity of the highest order.

However, Miyetti Allah and their collaborators in the South East should stomach their nefarious plan of setting up a vigilante group. It will not work and ndị Igbo will resist such move with the last drop of our blood. The drumbeat Miyetti Allah is dancing to will receive a change of beat from us. In order not to create a very ugly scene that would further put a question mark in the unrealisable one Nigeria project, Miyetti Allah should forever bury the hopeless dream of establishing a night watch group in South East. We are not stupid and blind to put our security in the hands of killers.

There has never been a time we cried to Miyetti Allah for their help. Our security situation is not bigger than us. We have BSS (Biafra Security Service) and Bakasi Boys on ground that can watch over us against killers and bandits which they already are part of.

These Cattle Breeders Association must thread with caution or they will be consumed by our wrath. Lastly, the police which I don’t trust in a way must do their best to apprehend these arrogant Fulani bigots for questioning so that they tell us the rationale behind their statement.
