Kehinde Fasoranti, son of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, leader of Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, has narrated how his sister, Funke Olakunrin died.

Yinka Odumakin, the spokesman for Afenifere announced the killing of Mrs. Olakunrin by suspected herdsmen in a terse statement on Friday.

Odumakin said late Mrs. Olakunrin, a 58-year-old woman, was heading to Ore Junction from Akure, Ondo State when she was attacked and shot by the herdsmen.

Narrating how Funke died, Kehinde said:

“She lost too much blood, she was the only person that died out of the five in her SUV. She just left our 93 -year old dad who is recovering from the death of my other sister.

“When they were ambushed near Ore, the driver turned back, but other kidnappers came out of the bush and started shooting at the SUV. My sister was hit, I just brought her corpse to Akure now.”
