Civil War: History Has Vindicated Biafrans; Southwest, S’South, M’Belt Fought On Wrong Side – FFK
A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has declared that people of Southwest, South-South and Middlebelt shouldn’t have fought against Biafrans during the 3-year civil war that claimed the lives of millions of Igbos.
The PDP Chieftain passed this message through micro-blogging site, Twitter, on his verified handle on Thursday.
Fani-Kayode said that the events Nigerians have suffered since President Muhammadu Buhari came into power have proved that the aforementioned region fought on the wrong side during the war.
The very outspoken lawyer also said that history has vindicated Biafrans.
He wrote:
“The civil war is long over but I am constrained to say that the horrendous events that the Nigerian people have suffered over the last 4 years have proved that the people of the SW, SS and MB fought on the WRONG side during that war. History has vindicated the Biafrans!”
