Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Raises Alarm Over Fresh Attack On IPOB Members

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has raised alarm over fresh attack on its members.

Kanu in a post on Sunday night said some security operatives invaded the venue of IPOB gathering and opened fire on them.

The incident happened in Ebonyi state during a meeting by the members of the pro-Biafra group.

The IPOB leader added that some members were seriously injured and in critical condition following the incident.

Kanu said this on his official handle on micro-blogging website, Twitter.

He wrote: “A combined team of security operatives invaded the venue of IPOB gathering in Ebonyi and opened fire on innocent citizens.

“Early reports indicate many are seriously injured, with some in critical condition.”
