BREAKING: ISIS Confirms Baghdadi Death, Names New Leader

The Islamic State jihadist group has confirmed the death of its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

According to a statement released on Thursday, October 31, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi was named as Baghdadi’s replacement.

“We mourn you…commander of the faithful,” an audio statement read by Abu Hamza al-Quraishi, presented as the jihadist group’s spokesman, said.
