Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Finally Speaks Out, Narrates How Police Shot His Mother, Burnt IPOB Members [Video]

Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, lawyer to the embattled leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has refuted the claim by the Nigerian Police that irate IPOB youths attacked and killed police officers.

Speaking in a video shared online, Barrister Ejiofor said that rather than IPOB members killing the said officers, it was actually the officers that came to his home in Oraifite town, located in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.

On what really transpired in his home, he narrated shocking details how Nigeria police attacked his house, killed many people , shot his mother and burnt his house as well as his neighbours’ houses.

He wondered what could have prompted the attack as he is known to the police and to the legal community as a peace-loving person.

He stated categorically that the motive of the attack is none other than the fact that he defends IPOB members illegally and unjustly incarcerated as self-determination is a constitutionally-guaranteed right of every citizen.

Ejiofor, therefore, called on the legal community, both local and international, to investigate the heinous crime in his house and fathom out why they attempted to kill him barely four days after the burial of his senior brother.
