Sowore: The World Can Now See Why We Want Biafra — Nnamdi Kanu
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the manhandling and subsequent rearrest of rights activists and co-convener of #RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore, by men of the Department of State Services (DSS).
The DSS on Friday rearrested the Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, in court.
According to SaharaReporters, the DSS operatives also chased away the presiding judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu and assaulted a journalist in their bid to arrest the duo.
Sharing a video of where DSS operatives were manhandling Sowore in court, Kanu said it is now glaring to the world that Nigeria is a failed state.
The IPOB said Nigeria has become a “calamitous mess” adding that the world can now see “why we want Biafra.”
Kanu’s words; “Nigeria’s secret police DSS manhandling Sowore before abducting him in court today in full view of the presiding judge. Thankfully the world can now see what a calamitous mess Nigeria has become and why we want Biafra.
“Now they know Nigeria is a failed state.”
