Biafra: Sowore Is In Prison Because Of Me — Nnamdi Kanu

Sowore and Nnamdi Kanu

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has said that the convener of RevolutionNow movement, Mr Omoyele Sowore is in the custody of the Department of State Services because he had a meeting with him (Kanu).

Kanu stated this during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra on Saturday, December 8.

The IPOB leader during the broadcast condemned the harassment of Sowore in court by DSS operatives, while also berating the Buhari-led federal government for the spate of human rights abuse in Nigeria.

Calling for Sowore’s release, Kanu alleged that the Nigerian government is not interested in the Sahara Reporters publisher but is only using the activist to get close to him (Kanu).

“The only reason Sowore is in prison is because he had a meeting with me. They are not fighting Sowore. They are fighting me,” he said.
