Biafra: Why I Love Senator Abaribe — Nnamdi Kanu

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra has revealed why he loves Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, the Lawmaker representing Abia South in the Nigerian Senate.

Kanu made this revelation during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra on Sunday, December 8. In the broadcast, the IPOB leader however refuted claims that Abaribe is sponsoring his group.

He said the pro-Biafra group is not getting support from South East leaders, adding that even Senator Abaribe has also not given IPOB a dime but that he (Kanu) loves Abaribe because the lawmaker always speaks the truth without fear.

Recall that Senator Abaribe and two others stood as sureties for Kanu before he was granted bail on health grounds by a Federal High Court in Abuja on April 25, 2017.

In his Sunday broadcast, Kanu berated Igbo leaders for not supporting IPOB. He disclosed that Abaribe’s support for his group is the reason the Senator can never be attacked like former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.

“Have you seen anybody touch Abaribe?,” the IPOB leader asked.

“Touch him and you will see. Abaribe has not given IPOB one dime but the man speaks the truth, that is why I love Abaribe,” he stated.
