Ifeanyi Ubah Seen Controlling Traffic At Niger Bridge [Photos]

Anambra South Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah has on Friday, 20th December, 2019 intervened to restore a civil protest led by the leaders, stakeholders and members of Anambra State Tankers Union which took place at Head Bridge Onitsha over a report of multiple taxation, harassment, intimidation and extortion by the state government’ agent in charge of the union.

Senator Ubah who landed at Asaba Airport was on his way to Nnewi to attend the proposed Anambra South Christmas Thank You tour when he ran into over five (5) hours road blockade by the Tippers’ Union who used their trucks to barricade all major entrances in and out of South Eastern states through Onitsha.

Attempts by security agencies present to restore order weren’t effective as it rather caused more gridlocks.

Ubah who had to trek over 2km to meet with the Tanker Union leaders, stakeholders and members has urged the union to sheathe their sword in this festive period in order to make road movement easy for road users.

The billionaire who helped to direct traffic after the union had opened the road, has called for a peace meeting so as to find a lasting solution to the problem.
