Shortly After Sowore’s Release, US Senator Sends Stern Warning To Nigerian Govt

Moments after the release of convener of #RevolutionNow movement, activist and owner of US-based media outfit, Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowere, an American Senator has come out to issue a stern warning to the Nigerian Government.

Sen. Cory Booker, a member of the Democratic Party and junior US Senator representing New Jersey, where Sowore lives in the US, issues the warning via his official Twitter account after CNN reported Sowore’s release via their official twitter handle.

In the words of Sen. Booker, “Glad to hear that Omoyele Sowore has been released from prison, though it’s unfortunate he can’t join his family in New Jersey for the holidays. Now, the Nigerian Government must ensure his continued safety & security as he awaits his trial and cease their concerning attacks on the press.”

Sowore was released on Tuesday five months after his initial detention, along former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki (Rtd), who has been in detention since 2015.

He is supposed to live in Abuja and he is not allowed to speak to the press, as his bail conditions demand.

His trial is expected to continue while he remains free.

Well, this is the same guy who committed all manner of verbal abuse and lies against former president Johnathan, which eventually succeeded to put the Evil dictator, otherwise known as Buhari into office in Nigeria. The Nigerian people who are victims of this evil Buhari’s wickedness needs an apology from Omoyele Sowore today before we can talk about his romance with Buhari.
