Fani-Kayode Reacts To Execution Of 11 Christians By ISWAP
A former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the killing of 11 Christians abducted from Borno State some weeks back by the Islamic State group.
The PDP Chieftain recalled that Nigerians never believed him when he reportedly revealed that ISIS was operating in Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode, however, stated that Christianity can never be defeated and that the Christian faith cannot also be wiped out.
His message reads;
“Two years ago when I told Nigerians that ISIS was operating in Nigeria I received nothing but scorn, jeers, ridicule and insults.
“On Christmas day 2019 11 ISWA captives, who were all Christian’s, were publicly beheaded and it was filmed. Those that laughed at me two years ago are not laughing anymore.
“Worst of all is the fact that Buhari and his Government has not said one word about it! And why should they, after all, like a key Buhari supporter said, those that were beheaded were “only Christian’s”.
“One day God will deliver us from these heartless monsters who delight in spreading terror and in shedding innocent Christian blood.
“Permit me to send a message to ISWA, Boko Haram, the Fulani militants and all those misguided souls in Nigeria and the Buhari Government that secretly support and encourage them: Christianity CANNOT be defeated and the Christian faith CANNOT be wiped out!
“As a matter of fact the more Christian blood is shed the more our faith spreads. The persecution of the saints and the believers is Christianity’s lifeblood.
“The Church of Christ was built on the blood and bones of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and that of millions Christian martyrs over the last 2000 years.
“Until the second and final coming of our Messiah, the Church and the Christian faith CANNOT and SHALL not be defeated. The Church shall go from strength to strength and the gates of hell shall not prevail.
“We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world and our God is mighty in battle: He shall deliver us and avenge us!”
