Igbo Lady Allegedly Beaten To Death For Dating Yoruba Man

Lagos state Police Command has launched investigations into the death of an Igbo lady allegedly beaten to death because of her romantic relationship with a yoruba guy.

The Igbo lady identified as Amaka was reportedly beaten into a state of lifelessness by her parents, Mr and Mrs Nweke who hated the fact that their daughter was dating a Yoruba Muslim boy

According to Amaka’s neighbours, she got pregnant for Ibrahim Lawal whom she met while in secondary school. This made her parents furious and led to constant beatings even in her delicate pregnant state.

They claimed that the boy’s parents always sent Amaka food and other gift items but her parents never allowed her to have them.

A neighbour identified as Adebola spoke to newsmen lamenting the loss and maltreatment the deceased suffered in the hands of her parents.

It was also widely claimed that Amaka’s parents were forced to ask Ibrahim’s parents for help after they could not settle her medical bills.

They promptly rendered the financial help needed.

However, it took the intervention of Chairman of the Community Development Association (CDA) to allow them have access to their grandchild and give him a name.
