BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu Apologises For Threatening Children Of Abia CP, Others
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has apologized for threatening the children of the Abia State Commissioner of Police, Ene Okon and other Nigerian officials.
The IPOB leader had few days ago threatened that his group will hunt down the children of Okon, and other police officers should they bring any harm to members of the pro-Biafra group during his parents’ burial which is billed to take place on February 14th.
Kanu released the apology note via his handle on micro-blogging site, Twitter on Wednesday.
Admitting that he went too far, Kanu said that his intention was only to bring global awareness to the threats and imminent danger the Government has placed on his family and community.

“This Friday, mourners in Biafra will come together to attend the funeral for my beloved parents, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and Ugoeze Sally Nmenme Kanu.
“During this time of mourning, the Indigenous People of #Biafra are living in a constant state of fear.
“The Abia State Commissioner of Police is threatening to disrupt the funeral and there continues to be a large military presence in the area, which has a history of inflicting violence against the #IPOB
“This has caused a range of emotions for me. I have now gone from an extreme sense of sadness after losing both of my parents, to an extreme sense of anger knowing that the mourners are in grave danger.
“In this time of immense grieving and anger, I made threats against the children of the Police Commissioner and other Nigerian officials on my radio program, Radio Biafra.
“This was wrong and I sincerely apologize. Children should always be off limits.
“It was my intention to bring global awareness to the threats and imminent danger the Government has placed on my family and community in hopes that shining a global spotlight on the actions of the Government will prevent them from inciting violence against my people.
“In doing so, I went too far.
“It is my great hope that the Indigenous People of Biafra can mourn in peace on Friday and can live in peace every single day forward.”

Do you mean that Nnamdi Kanu has now woken up from his slumber of foolishness and arrogance of emptiness???
Before the Yorubas and now the North ever had a chance to even speak of independence, Nnamdi Kanu had the first golden opportunity to do so.
However, instead of using that opportunity to rally every ethnic diversity in the entire East and South-South, he rather went on a rampage of insult to all none Igbos in the area, including the former president Jonathan who was the only one in Nigeria the Western governments were truly listening to about the matter of independence of entire eastern Nigeria.
Nnamdi Kanu called the former president “low intelligent”, and claimed that his wife was more intelligent than him because she is Igbo and the husband is not. He also blasphemed the name of Jesus church Christ and insult Christian in Nigeria. Those Igbos who attend any Church in Nigeria, whose pastor is not Igbo, he called them fools.
His blind and misled supporters went further to called those in people in both Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom States house boys and house girls. If anyone is in doubt of what I say, just listen to the so-called radio Biafra for one her and see if you will not vomit.
For your information, there will be no Biafra with any none Igbo speaking tribe in Nigeria. That is: if there will ever be a country called Biafra. Most importantly, if we must avoid a bloodbath as it happened in Southern Sudan after independence from Sudan.
