Muslims And Christians Are All Sons Of Abraham, Buhari Tells Nigerians

A statement has been released by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, February 18 in commemoration of the abduction of Leah Sharibu who is the only remaining Dapchi schoolgirl in Boko Haram’s den.

President Buhari disclosed that no one can force Nigerians to change their religion against their will because everyone has the right to practice any religion of their choice.

While regretting that Leah Sharibu is still in captivity, Buhari assured Nigerians that his administration will continue working towards emsuring Leah Sharibu and other children in captivity regain their freedom.

The statement reads;

WE’LL CONTINUE TO SEEK AND SECURE RELEASE OF ALL CHILDREN AND CAPTIVES OF TERRORISTS – PRESIDENT BUHARI

On the second anniversary of Dapchi, Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria makes the following statement:

Two years ago, 110 innocent children from the town of Dapchi were taken, against their will, by the terrorists of Boko Haram. 107 survived the ordeal. Today all but one – Leah Sharibu – are returned to their families.

Now aged 16, Leah remains in the hands of the terrorists – they say because she refuses to renounce her Christian faith.

We say, as the government for and of all Nigerians, that no person has the right to force another to change their faith against their will and that all life is sacred.

This government continues and seeks to secure the release of all children and captives of terrorists – and we do so regardless of their creed or the name of their creator.

As we redouble our efforts for Leah’s return, we can never allow the terrorists to divide us – Christian against Muslim, Muslim against Christian. We are all Sons of Abraham. And all Nigerians have the same worth and rights before the law, and before God.

    Each and every person has the right to defend himself or herself!!! If he is trying to make the Nigerians feel better then this will not work! It is not a good look for him to talk about the slaughter of a people by telling them to wait on Authorities.

    I believe it goes deeper than just being a Muslim or a Christian. Let’s have the real truth. It really looks bad seeing a president not taking care of his country! Now, he, the president must be planning for an uprising. There is no peaceful way out of this situation. Mr. President, who do you stand with… the “Holy Wars” took place a long time ago. Protect those who you swore to protect!

    The above is rubbish. When an evil man talks everyone knows. Devil can quote anything. Being a son of Abraham or lack of it does not matter. There is record that Ishmael, the forefather of Muslims was cursed by Almighty God (Genesis 16).Ishmael is a terrorist, so his descendants. There is nowhere Ishmael served the God of his supposed Father Abraham. Furthermore, Muslims and Christians who choose to be evil and wicked are under curse
